The episode begins with Kusum asking Sudesh to take his tablets while she goes to prepare tiffin. Mangal interrupts and tells Kusum that she has already prepared the tiffin, asking her to rest. Kusum replies that she doesn’t want to get used to this care since Mangal will be leaving soon. This makes Mangal emotional. Kusum apologizes for hurting her earlier and expresses gratitude for saving them from Monisha. She assures Mangal that her new life will begin soon, and if anyone tries to stop it, she will not spare them. Adit overhears this. Kusum notices him and asks when he came. Adit replies that he came to hand her the passbook. Kusum takes it and goes inside. Mangal leaves to prepare food. Adit thinks to himself that he’s relieved Monisha didn’t expose him, otherwise he would be in big trouble.
While preparing food, Mangal feels as though someone is watching her. A masked person (Monisha) is secretly observing her. Later, while helping Akshat search for his book, Mangal notices a shadow. At the same time, Kapil calls her. Adit answers the phone, saying that Mangal is busy getting the kids ready and her phone kept ringing, so he picked it up. Kapil accepts this but grows suspicious, thinking Mangal forgot about the important meeting and suspects something fishy. He decides to meet her.
Mangal suddenly sees a hooded person attempting to attack Akshat. She quickly alerts him and calls Adit, asking him to inform the police. Adit dismisses her fears, saying it’s just her imagination. But Mangal insists they can’t take any risks. Once again, she spots the shadow and runs outside to catch the hooded figure. Kusum sends Adit after her.
Mangal tries to chase down the hooded person, but the person stumbles over a plant pot while escaping, revealing it is Monisha. Mangal manages to grab hold and attempts to remove the hoodie, but Monisha escapes. Just as Mangal is about to meet with an accident, Adit saves her. Mangal insists she caught someone in black and they must track them down. Adit denies it, claiming no one was there. She turns to the vegetable vendors for confirmation, but they deny seeing anything and say it seems like Mangal has gone mad. Adit drags her away, warning that otherwise people will think he too has lost his mind.
Later, Pratima arrives to meet Mangal. When Mangal and Adit return home, Mangal maintains she isn’t lying. Adit continues dismissing her, saying it’s all in her imagination. Pratima asks Kusum why Adit is speaking so harshly to Mangal.
Adit argues with Mangal, asking why no one else saw this mysterious person if she really existed. Mangal says no one trusts her, but they are all in danger. Pratima asks her to calm down. Mangal then asks Akshat if he saw anyone holding a knife and trying to attack him. Adit orders her to stop her madness. To his shock, Akshat confirms that he too saw the shadow of a hooded person with a knife. Mangal asks Adit if he has his answer now and storms inside.
Pratima asks Kusum what has happened to Mangal. Kusum explains that Mangal is disturbed and assures her that once Mangal feels better, she will send her to Pratima’s house. Pratima agrees. Meanwhile, Mangal makes a vow to catch the culprit.
