The episode begins with the inspector telling Karthik that his wife’s statement indicates he is the culprit. Lakshmi insists that Karthik is innocent. The inspector says they will investigate the matter and informs Karthik that he is under arrest. Everyone is shocked. Lakshmi and Mangal plead with the inspector not to arrest Karthik, claiming he is innocent. However, the police warn them and proceed to arrest Karthik, taking him away. Gayatri slaps Lakshmi in anger. The media questions Karthik about whether he molested Jia as the police escort him to their jeep.
Gayatri warns Mangal not to get involved in the matter. She tells Kusum that Lakshmi has made Karthik appear guilty in front of the police. Furious, she asks what kind of revenge Lakshmi is taking on their family and warns her not to show her face again. Gayatri leaves in anger, and Lakshmi collapses. Mangal consoles Lakshmi, assuring her that the truth will come out and everything will be resolved. Lakshmi, devastated, says she would rather die than see anything happen to Karthik. Mangal urges her to stay strong and fight to prove Karthik’s innocence. Lakshmi agrees and promises to clear Karthik’s name.
Later that night, Mangal cries as she recalls the events of the day. She receives a call from Lakshmi, who informs her that the police didn’t allow her to meet Karthik and told her she could see him the next day. Mangal comforts Lakshmi and asks her to stay strong.
The next day, Adit helps Mangal carry a gas cylinder into her house. Sowmya notices Adit visiting Mangal and becomes suspicious. Adit asks Mangal to give some cookies and biscuits to his children before leaving. Watching this, Sowmya decides to make Mangal leave the society.
Sowmya pretends to talk on the phone, intentionally instigating the colony ladies against Mangal. The ladies confront Mangal, accusing her of being abandoned by Adit. Mangal rebukes them and sends them away. Frustrated, the colony ladies complain to Mangal’s landlord, who then calls Kusum. Kusum convinces him that Mangal is a good person. Realizing Kusum is indirectly supporting Mangal, Sowmya sees Kusum leaving to attend a havan at Mangal’s house and decides to create a scene.
At Mangal’s house, Kusum meets her and explains that she avoided going to Gayatri’s house to avoid the media. They pray for Lakshmi and Karthik’s problems to be resolved. Just then, Shanti and Lipika arrive. Shanti complains that Mangal only cares about Lakshmi and not Lipika. Mangal says she is concerned about both of her sisters. She also blames Shanti for bringing Jia to Lipika’s wedding, saying it led to all these problems. Shanti snaps back at her.
The colony ladies come to Mangal to apologize for misunderstanding her. They ask if they can join the griha shanti pooja. Mangal agrees and lets them in. As she is about to close the door, Sowmya arrives.
Meanwhile, Umesh tells Gayatri that no lawyer is willing to take Karthik’s case. Gayatri breaks down in tears. Lakshmi tries to offer her water, but Gayatri warns her to stay away. Umesh assures Gayatri that Lakshmi is not responsible for Karthik’s situation. The media arrives and questions Lakshmi, forcing her to shut the door and cry. Umesh encourages Lakshmi to remain strong. Sanjana points out that everyone is siding with Jia and that no lawyer is ready to defend Karthik. Jia, meanwhile, asks her mother to get Karthik released, saying she can’t bear to see him in jail. Her mother advises her to wait until their plan succeeds.
Lakshmi, with her face covered, goes to the police station to meet Karthik. Initially, the inspector refuses, but she convinces him to allow a five-minute meeting. Lakshmi and Karthik break down upon seeing each other. Lakshmi reassures Karthik that she will prove his innocence. Karthik asks if she trusts him, saying he didn’t do anything wrong. Lakshmi replies that she trusts him completely and promises to expose Jia and save him. They hold hands and share an emotional moment before the inspector interrupts, asking Lakshmi to leave as her time is up.
As Lakshmi leaves the station, still covering her face, she sees Jia speaking to the media. Jia claims she will take her own life if Karthik gets bail and asks the media for their support. The media sides with her. Jia notices Lakshmi leaving and approaches her, confidently declaring that she will win Karthik. Lakshmi responds, saying Jia’s love is fake and that she will fight to save her husband, warning Jia to prepare for defeat. Lakshmi leaves.
Back at Mangal’s house, Sowmya tells Mangal she didn’t realize it was her house and says she came to attend the pooja. She enters the house, and the colony ladies ask Kusum who Sowmya is. Kusum changes the topic. Mangal steps aside to call the pandit. Shanti confronts Mangal about inviting Sowmya, but Mangal clarifies that she didn’t. One of the colony ladies, Roshini, calls Sowmya inauspicious and accuses her of trapping married men. Mangal defends Sowmya, asking Roshini to stop. However, Roshini pushes Sowmya, who holds her stomach and cries out, “My baby!” Shocked, Roshini asks if Sowmya is pregnant.
