Mangal Lakshmi 20th March 2025 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Mangal telling her family members that she was framed in the incident. Adit scolds her for not listening to him and warns her not to mention the Sultan show again. He says, “I don’t want this to trouble my parents and kids,” before taking his parents inside. Mangal cries in front of Maata Rani, saying she did nothing wrong yet is being punished. She resolves to prove her innocence.
Mangal starts cleaning the names written on the walls. She recalls the insults she faced and how her family members are treating her. With tears in her eyes, she wonders how her food could have caused Nysa to slip into a coma. She calls the hospital and learns that Nysa is still in a coma. Suspecting that someone might have mixed poison into her food, she decides to investigate.
Kusum notices that Mangal is not in her room and finds a pillow placed in her spot. She wonders where Mangal has gone. Meanwhile, Mangal sneaks into the competition venue to gather proof of her innocence. She distracts the police and manages to enter the premises. Kusum informs Adit that Mangal is missing, and he immediately calls her. However, Mangal decides not to answer until she finds evidence.
As she searches, the constables suspect someone has entered the set and begin checking the area with flashlights. Mangal hides and notices a powder bottle among Niketan’s belongings, making her suspect that he might be behind the conspiracy against her. She climbs a ladder and hides inside a water tank, but the lid gets locked from the outside. After a while, she stops hearing any noises. She tries to open the door but is unable to.
Kusum tells Adit that she feels Mangal is in danger, but Sowmya dismisses her concerns and tries to turn Adit against Mangal with her words. Meanwhile, Mangal notices her phone signal is weak. As she starts feeling dizzy, she gathers her strength and sends Adit a message, asking him to save her from the locked tank. She writes, “If something happens to me, please take care of yourself, Papa, and the kids.” Praying to Maata Rani for the message to reach Adit, she falls unconscious.
Adit assures Kusum that Mangal left on her own and is deliberately ignoring their calls. He takes Kusum to her room. Meanwhile, Sowmya takes Adit’s phone to order tea and comes across Mangal’s message. She is thrilled to learn that Mangal is in danger.
Elsewhere, Lakshmi dreams of being exposed. Jia demands that Radha slap Gayatri. Lakshmi moves near Gayatri as the power goes out. Taking advantage of the darkness, she pretends to slap Gayatri by creating a sound. When the lights come back on, Jia praises Lakshmi and leaves. Gayatri, however, confronts Lakshmi, asking why she lied to Jia. Lakshmi replies, “I have manners, and you are elder to me, so I didn’t slap you.” She then walks away.
Sanjana begins to suspect that Radha is hiding something. Meanwhile, Lakshmi recalls that Jia took her phone and worries that she will be exposed if Jia learns anything against her. The photographer calls Lakshmi, but Jia answers the call and realizes that he tricked her for Lakshmi’s sake. She then checks a message from a Pandit and pieces together the conspiracy against her. Determined to find out who is supporting Lakshmi, Jia confronts Gayatri, accusing her of double-crossing and siding with Lakshmi. Gayatri denies any involvement, but Jia forces her onto a treadmill to make her confess. However, she gets no information.
Lakshmi, in her real form, arrives and saves Gayatri. Jia then declares that she will marry Karthik the next day and leaves. Furious, Gayatri scolds Lakshmi for putting her in a tough situation and decides to tell Karthik the truth.
Walking lifelessly on the road, Lakshmi almost meets with an accident, but Karthik saves her. She pleads with him not to trust Jia and not to marry her, revealing that she was raised by Mangal. However, Karthik refuses to believe her and turns to leave. Just then, his hand chain gets tangled in Lakshmi’s saree. He removes it and walks away, leaving Lakshmi in tears, feeling helpless.
