The episode begins with the ladies of the colony telling Mangal that women like Sowmya are not good and, if left unchecked, she might trap Adit one day. Roshini hits Sowmya with a slipper. Sowmya, upset, says, “I’m carrying a baby, and you all did wrong by insulting me.” She then leaves the place. Mangal wants to follow Sowmya, but Kusum stops her. Mangal scolds Roshini, saying she acted wrongly. Meanwhile, Kusum informs Mangal that the Pandit has arrived and asks her to focus on the pooja. Kusum also tells Mangal that she will go out to see what Sowmya is up to and then leaves.
At home, Sowmya manipulates Adit against Mangal. She tells him, “I went to Maata Darbar to pray for my baby, but I was insulted there.” Adit asks her why she went there, knowing it was Mangal’s house. Sowmya replies that Mangal has turned the colony ladies against her, adding, “They pushed me and slapped me with slippers even though I’m pregnant. These actions are affecting me and my baby mentally. I don’t know why Mangal has so much enmity towards me.”
Kusum arrives and overhears the conversation. She confronts Sowmya, asking why she is instigating Adit against Mangal. Kusum accuses her of creating a scene by telling everyone she’s pregnant. Sowmya retaliates, saying, “Mangal’s intentions are wrong; she doesn’t care about my baby. You only care about Mangal.” Adit supports Sowmya, saying, “Kusum only loves Mangal and not her son.” Kusum defends Mangal, but Adit insists that what Mangal did to Sowmya is wrong.
Mangal arrives just then. Adit calls her over, saying they are talking about her. Mangal says she came to check on Sowmya to see if she was okay because what happened earlier wasn’t right. However, Adit taunts her. Sowmya accuses Mangal of pretending to care and calls her a cunning woman. She tells Mangal that she understands her conspiracies. Mangal defends herself, saying she hasn’t done anything and questions why the colony ladies and Sowmya came to her house uninvited. Adit warns Mangal that he will never forgive her if anything happens to Sowmya’s baby and asks her to stay away from them.
Sowmya further accuses Mangal, saying, “I’ve been labeled a dusri aurat, and my child has been called illegitimate, while Mangal and her children enjoy their legitimate rights.” Adit, in anger, declares that he won’t go to Mangal’s house to meet her kids and won’t allow Mangal to visit his house if Sowmya doesn’t approve. Sowmya smirks, pleased with the situation.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi requests the lawyer to take up Kartik’s case, but the lawyer refuses and asks her to find someone else. Disheartened, Lakshmi leaves. Gayatri feels guilty for calling Jia back and fears she won’t be able to forgive herself if something happens to Kartik. She calls Jia, but Jia doesn’t answer. Gayatri then sends a voice message, pleading with Jia to talk to her. Later, Gayatri approaches Umesh and learns that no lawyer is willing to take Kartik’s case. Distraught, she breaks down, crying for Kartik. Umesh consoles her and asks her to eat, but Gayatri refuses, saying she won’t eat until Kartik comes home.
Back at Adit’s house, he warns Mangal not to enter his home again. Kusum intervenes, saying Mangal will come, but Adit warns her not to be unjust to Sowmya. Adit forces Kusum to choose between him and Mangal. Kusum, torn and crying, remains silent. Adit demands a decision. Mangal steps in, asking Adit to stop putting Kusum to the test. She reassures Kusum, saying, “A mother can never truly be separated from her child. Don’t worry about me; I can manage.” Kusum cries as Mangal leaves.
Sowmya smirks, thinking that everything is now in her favor and Adit will no longer visit Mangal’s house.
