The episode begins with Sowmya asking Adit to eat the food she has prepared. Adit refuses, saying he prefers the happiness he gets from the home chef’s meals and asks her not to snatch it away from him. Sowmya retorts, saying she cooked because his mother forced her to. Adit tells her he’ll find a solution to her problem and sarcastically suggests she feed her food to the dogs. Just then, a clerk informs Adit that his carriage has arrived.
Later, the boss notices all the employees eating lunch together and comments to the clerk that it’s unusual. Adit praises the food prepared by the home chef and insists the boss try it. The manager also tastes it and declares it divine. Adit mentions that Isha found this amazing chef. Isha adds that the chef is a home cook. Hearing this, Sowmya suspects it might be Mangal. The boss announces he’ll award the catering contract to this home chef. He informs Isha that he is leaving for America and instructs her to contact the chef immediately to finalize the contract. Adit expresses his happiness.
Meanwhile, Akshat proudly shows his A+ grades to Mangal, who praises his improvement. Akshat remarks that her reduced arguments with Adit have helped him focus better. Mangal silently wonders how to completely remove his fears. Just then, Isha calls Mangal and tells her about the boss’s offer of a catering contract. She asks Mangal to come to the company in the car she’s sending. Mangal agrees. However, Sowmya overhears the conversation and regrets not discovering this earlier.
At home, the family wishes Mangal all the best. As the car arrives, Mangal steps out to leave. Meanwhile, Sowmya misleads the driver and sabotages the car by adding sugar to the diesel tank. When she sees Mangal approaching, Sowmya hides under the car. Mangal is surprised to see such a grand car and gets in. The driver starts the engine.
At the office, Adit wonders where Sowmya has disappeared. The boss asks Isha if she informed the catering chef about his departure in half an hour. Isha assures him that the chef has been notified and will arrive soon. The boss agrees to wait. Adit hopes the deal happens before the boss leaves for his month-long trip, calling the chef a “fairy” in his life.
Midway, the car breaks down. Mangal calls Isha to inform her about the situation. Isha urges Mangal to find another way to reach the office quickly as the boss has only 30 minutes left. Mangal tries to get a lift but fails. Determined not to give up, she starts running toward the office, only for her slippers to break on the way.
Back at the office, the boss tells Isha he can’t wait any longer. Isha decides to leave to handle the situation. Just then, Adit notices Sowmya returning and asks where she had been. Sowmya replies that she had stepped out to take a call. She then slyly questions whether the caterer has arrived, adding that if the chef can’t attend a meeting on time, how can they reliably deliver food? She advises against awarding the contract to this caterer.
Meanwhile, Mangal buys a pair of old shoes from a cobbler and resumes running. When she’s near the office area, Isha calls Mangal to ask where is she. Isha provides the office address. Mangal is shocked to learn it is Adit’s office.
