The episode starts with Mangal cleaning her house. Shanti says that even though they have moved to a new city, Mangal is still the same—kind and helpful to everyone—and asks what she gains by doing everything herself. Mangal smiles and says, “I have you all.” Shanti then asks why she gave leave to the worker and is doing the Diwali cleaning herself. Mangal replies that the worker is already tired after cleaning other houses, so she decided to let her rest. Shanti insists on helping, but Mangal says she can manage.
Just then, Akshat and Ishana arrive to help Mangal. Mangal asks Ishana to focus on her dance practice instead and says she wants her to become the best dancer. Ishana starts practicing her dance, and when she forgets a step, Mangal helps her. Mangal, the kids, and Shanti spend a good time together until they hear the doorbell ring.
Mangal goes to her dhaba and starts preparing food for customers. She delivers the order, collects the payment, and returns to clean the place. The bell rings again. Shanti opens the door and says she has been waiting for this person. When Mangal asks who it is, Shanti reveals that she hired the neighbor’s worker to clean the outer area and asks Mangal not to refuse. Mangal agrees.
Later, Akshat takes Mangal’s permission and video calls Adit, inviting him to come to Mussoorie for Diwali. Adit says he has work and can’t come. Akshat agrees and says he’ll video call him on Diwali. Adit notices Akshat’s old clothes and asks if his mother didn’t buy him new ones. He offers to order them online. Ishana says there’s no need, as their mom already bought the dresses they liked. Adit feels guilty for underestimating Mangal, thinking she would return within ten days with the kids. He says goodbye and ends the call.
Meanwhile, a pregnant Sowmya gives Adit an aarti. He takes it and leaves. Sowmya, wearing a saree, later starts cleaning the house but almost trips. Kusum saves her just in time and tells her not to do any cleaning, advising her to take care of her unborn baby. Sowmya emotionally thanks Kusum for saving her both now and before, saying she doesn’t know what would have happened to her and her baby if Kusum hadn’t allowed her to stay there.
A flashback shows Sowmya begging Adit and his parents for forgiveness and revealing that she is pregnant. Adit refuses to believe her and doesn’t allow her inside the house. Kusum, however, lets Sowmya stay for the sake of Adit’s unborn child. In the present, Kusum once again asks Sowmya to be careful. Adit comes out, and Sowmya offers to make him tea. Adit says there’s no need and leaves.
Back at the dhaba, the worker finishes her work. Mangal comes out with payment and a box of sweets for her. The worker is shocked to see Mangal and leaves hurriedly. Mangal tells Shanti about the worker’s strange behavior. The worker then calls someone and says, “She’s back—I saw her (Mangal).” On the other side, a lady tells her to confirm whether it’s really the person they’re thinking of.
Later, Mangal decorates the dhaba with a rangoli and prepares the place for Diwali. Akshat praises her efforts. Mangal then goes to the market to buy some items, leaving Akshat at the dhaba. Neel and his friends arrive and start eating food without paying. When Akshat asks them to pay, Neel warns him not to mess with him. When Akshat tries to stop them again, Neel ruins the rangoli, harasses Akshat, and pushes him. Mangal rushes in and holds Akshat on time, warning Neel that his behavior is wrong. Neel warns her not to interfere.
Meanwhile, the worker checks a file and finds Mangal’s details. She calls the same lady and says, “It’s the same person—she’s back after sixteen years. I just hope she doesn’t reveal what happened sixteen years ago.”
