The episode starts with Adit talking on his phone, and Mangal overhears him while hiding. Adit leaves the place, and Mangal recalls what happened.
Gayatri tells Jia over the phone that Karthik’s phone is with Lakshmi. She explains that she asked Lakshmi to check Karthik’s phone in case any important calls or messages arrive. Gayatri advises Jia that they need to execute their plan before Karthik wakes up. Jia agrees and sends a photo of herself with Karthik. Jia, in her mind, tells Lakshmi that she will now understand that Karthik and Jia are more than just friends.
Meanwhile, Keerthi pleads with her boss to wait for a little longer, assuring them that Mangal might arrive anytime. Sowmya dismisses the idea, suggesting that Mangal would already be here if she intended to come. The boss decides to leave.
Mangal then arrives at the office. Keerthi introduces Mangal as the home chef to the office staff. One of the staff members recognizes Mangal as Adit’s wife and shares this with everyone. Sowmya, amused, thinks that Adit would have been shocked if he were present and comments on it.
At home, Lakshmi notices that Karthik has received a message. She tries to check Karthik’s phone, but he grabs it and asks if she was about to look at his messages. Lakshmi explains that she wanted to check if he received anything important and mentions that he got a message from Jia. She then offers to make coffee, and Karthik agrees. Lakshmi leaves the room.
After seeing the photo, Karthik sends a voice message to Jia, stating that he has moved on and urging her to stop these petty tricks. Furious at her plan’s failure, Jia lashes out in her room but later calms herself down.
Keerthi takes Mangal to meet her boss to sign the contract. Meanwhile, Adit’s colleagues tease him for not knowing that his wife is cooking meals. Sowmya makes up an excuse and takes Adit aside.
Adit asks Sowmya if she knew about Mangal’s activities all along. Sowmya denies it but makes a sly comment.
Mangal finally meets Adit’s boss. The boss commends her for arriving on time despite any challenges. The boss asks if she will be able to prepare food for 170 people daily while maintaining quality. Mangal expresses her gratitude for the opportunity.
Elsewhere, Adit tells Sowmya that Mangal won’t accept the contract because she’s incapable of handling such a big task. Sowmya advises Adit not to underestimate Mangal, reminding him that she will do anything to prove she’s better than him.
Mangal confidently agrees to the deal and signs the contract.
In another scene, Lakshmi is shown stitching a button on Karthik’s shirt while he’s wearing it. Karthik receives a call from Jia and answers it. During this, Lakshmi accidentally injures her hand. Karthik quickly asks if she’s alright. Jia overhears this and becomes jealous. She tells Karthik that the shooting location has been changed and adds a comment.
Later, Adit sees Mangal and makes a remark. Mangal responds, telling Adit that she’ll handle this job successfully because she has always managed her household responsibilities.
