The episode begins with Mangal telling Kusum that Adit had become a habit for her over the years, so she continued with the same routine. Kusum responds, saying that habits will change with time. Mangal expresses that she feels as though she’s lost her reason for living. Shanti tells Mangal to live for her, and Kusum agrees. Shanti then asks Mangal to join her for shopping, but Mangal refuses. Kusum eventually convinces Mangal and sends her off to shop with Shanti.
Meanwhile, Gayatri, on a call with Kusum, reassures her that everything will settle soon and reminds Kusum to take care of herself. After ending the call, Gayatri notices that Lakshmi has brought back an empty bowl without the tiffin and questions her about it. Karthik steps in, explaining that Lakshmi is stressed, and he heads to the kitchen to bring the tiffin. Lakshmi tells Gayatri that Kusum made a mistake by hiding Adit’s affair from Mangal. Gayatri responds, saying that Lakshmi doesn’t understand the pain Kusum is going through. Karthik intervenes, stopping the argument.
At the market, Shanti insists that Mangal eat some chaat. Sowmya spots Mangal and Shanti and begins to instigate the ladies from Mangal’s colony against her before leaving. The colony women approach Mangal, hurt her with their harsh words, and Mangal leaves in distress. She sits by a vegetable cart, eating mirchi while crying. Noticing Mangal’s absence, Shanti looks for her and finds her. The vegetable vendor asks Mangal why she is behaving as if she’s lost her mind. Shanti gives Mangal water and urges her to go home. Mangal agrees. Watching from a distance, Sowmya enjoys seeing Mangal’s suffering. Shanti arranges for an auto for Mangal to go home and then spots Sowmya, realizing she was the one who turned the colony women against Mangal. Confronting the women, Shanti exposes Sowmya, revealing that she had an illicit relationship with Adit, which destroyed Mangal’s life. The colony women are shocked and pledge to support Shanti, urging her to punish Sowmya. They surround Sowmya, and Shanti applies black paint on her face and prepares to add more.
At that moment, Mangal arrives and stops Shanti, saying that the real blame lies with Adit for allowing Sowmya into his life. The colony women agree and disperse. Mangal warns Shanti not to cause unnecessary drama, then goes to hire an auto. In retaliation, Sowmya tells Shanti to apply black paint on Lipika’s face instead, as she was the one who tricked Mangal into signing the divorce papers.
Elsewhere, Adit notices unpaid bills piling up and thinks he will send how Mangal will manage without him. Mangal, too, sees the bills and worries about how she will pay them. She heads to the bank to withdraw money, but encounters difficulties and, despite seeking help, no one is willing to assist her in filling out the cheque.
