The episode starts with Neel saying to Mangal, “Seems like you’re new here. Be careful around me.” Shanti arrives and points out his upbringing. Mangal replies, “No, mom gives wrong upbringing, and his ways are wrong.” Neel gets angry at Mangal’s lecture and leaves.
The next day, Mangal prepares food. She asks Shanti, “Bless me to achieve more success.” Shanti says, “My blessings are with you,” and gestures that the food smells good. Ishana practices her dance moves. Mangal comes with the cooked food. Ishana sets her practice aside, and Mangal dances with her. They enjoy the moment. Ishana says, “I recorded the video,” and opens her phone to show it, but the video is not recorded because the phone is not working properly. Mangal says, “I’ll get you a new phone.” Ishana replies, “Not needed.”
Later, Shanti tells Mangal, “I have arranged everything.” Mangal counts the money. Shanti asks if she wants it. Mangal explains, “Ishana’s phone is not working, yet she didn’t pressure me to get a new one. I don’t want my kids to feel they did wrong by coming with me and leaving their father, which is why I accepted the order.” Shanti reassures her, “You will get more orders. Don’t worry.” Mangal feels someone is watching them but sees no one outside the room.
At the Saxena house, Kusum tells Adit, “For Choti Diwali, silver coins are needed for the pooja for the kids. I forgot to get them since Mangal usually does it every year.” Adit says, “I’ll get them.” Sowmya arrives with silver coins and says, “I got one for Ishana, one for Akshat, and one for my unborn baby. You all forgave my mistake and accepted me into your home; that’s enough for me.”
Akshat asks Mangal, “Why do you always perform Choti Diwali pooja?” She replies, “It’s for your well-being.” A worker shows evidence to a lady, revealing that Mangal is back. The lady is shocked and says, “What if our secret gets exposed? How did this happen?” Neel spies on Mangal’s activities. Mangal senses someone watching her but doesn’t see Neel.
Kusum asks Adit to perform Lakshmi pooja using lotus flowers. Sowmya tells Adit, “I know you’re angry with me, and you’re right. My child will not replace Akshat or Ishana, but for him, please place this lotus at Mahalaxmi’s feet.” Adit complies.
In Mussoorie, Mangal performs pooja and comes out with the aarti plate. Neel collides with her, and the plate falls. Mangal asks, “Why did you make me drop it?” Neel makes a comment, and Akshat says, “You only pushed my mom.” Mangal says it’s a waste to argue and goes to the kitchen. Shanti tells her, “I forgot something in the fridge.” They go to retrieve it. Neel sneaks in and puts a lizard in the sambar. He hears a sound and hides. Mangal and Shanti return. Shanti blesses her to get more orders.
Mangal delivers the food orders. Shanti reassures her, “Don’t worry, Maata Rani is with you.” Suddenly, a lady shouts that there is a lizard in the food. Customers at the dhaba feel disgusted. Mangal is shocked. They scold her, saying she played with their lives. Mangal insists, “I cooked the food; there’s no mistake.” A man says, “We will file a case against you for endangering lives.” Mangal says she didn’t make any mistake. The man threatens, “We will make you leave this city if it’s found you were at fault.” Neel smirks.
