The episode starts with Lakshmi asking the saree seller to whom he sold the saree model. Karthik asks Lakshmi why she is shopping there and says everyone is waiting for her. Lakshmi asks Karthik to look at the saree, saying it is exactly the same as the one Adit gifted Mangal. She mentions that Adit said he bought the saree for Mangal from Chandini Chowk, but now this saree seller is selling the same saree for a very cheap price. Lakshmi tells Karthik that Adit might have bought the saree from this seller. Karthik responds that it is quite common for others to imitate expensive designs and adds that even if there is a 1% chance that what she said is true, everyone in the house will be sad. Lakshmi remains silent upon hearing this.
Shanti makes Sowmya decorate Adit and Mangal’s bed, saying it is for their first night. Sowmya gets furious upon hearing this.
Later that night, Sowmya ensures Shanti is asleep. She takes a picture of the bridal dress and sees Mangal coming to the hall. Sowmya pretends to be sleeping. Afterward, she calls someone and requests an exact copy of the bridal dress. Sowmya thinks that tomorrow Mangal will be taught a lesson.
Lakshmi talks to Mangal about Sowmya and asks where Sowmya is sleeping. Mangal replies that Sowmya is sleeping in the hall. Adit overhears their conversation.
Adit thinks he should ask Sowmya to leave the house, as he doesn’t know what Kusum is up to. He calls Sowmya using Karthik’s phone. Sowmya answers the call, and Adit asks her not to stay at his home. Sowmya argues with Adit about it. Lakshmi enters the room, and Adit, seeing her, pretends to be on a call with the office. After cutting the call, Adit tells Lakshmi that his phone was updating, so he used Karthik’s phone. He then deletes Sowmya’s number and leaves. Lakshmi checks Karthik’s phone and sees that the last call was Karthik calling his manager, wondering why Adit deleted the call if it was to his office.
The next day, Kusum, Mangal, and Shanti pray to God, as today is Mangal and Adit’s wedding. Mangal distributes items to everyone. Sowmya asks Mangal to give the Aarthi to her as well. Sowmya receives a delivery at Adit’s house. Kusum asks Sowmya what is in the box, and Sowmya says she ordered a lehenga to wear to Adit’s wedding. Kusum asks her to show it, but Sowmya replies that they can see it after she wears it. Kusum then asks Lipika to put down the box and open it.
At Gayatri’s house, Adit is ready as the groom, and Lakshmi ties the Sehra to Adit. Karthik tells Lakshmi to ask Adit what she wants. Lakshmi asks Adit for a promise that he will always care for Mangal and never betray her. Adit promises Lakshmi. Sudesh praises the bond between Lakshmi and Mangal.
Mangal tells Kusum to let it go if Sowmya doesn’t want to show them the dress. Kusum agrees. Sowmya takes the dress and silently thanks Mangal for saving her. Sowmya thinks Mangal will be surprised when Adit marries her instead of Mangal at the wedding.
