The episode starts with Mangal saying to Sowmya that she didn’t know she was going to dance with Ishana. Mangal asks Sowmya why didn’t she tell her. Sowmya says to Mangal that Mangal was on a wheel chair and she only wanted to help Ishana. Mangal says to Sowmya that if she told her she wouldn’t have minded it. Sudesh says to Sowmya how Mangal with an injured leg danced with Ishana and won the trophy. Sudesh also says how Akshat told him they were blood marks all over the floor and comments on it. Mangal says she will get something for them and leaves from there. Akshat comes and takes Ishana and Sudesh away asking them to see the decoration of the room.
Sowmya tries to explain to Adit about why she hasn’t come to the dance competition. Adit doesn’t listen to her. Adit hits her off. Sowmya later shows her hand injury. Sowmya says she was injured in the temple due to Lakshmi that’s why she wasn’t able to come to the dance competition. Adit says to Sowmya that only her hand was injured but not her leg and asks Sowmya to look at how Mangal danced with an injured leg. Kusum and Mannan return home and they find Sowmya holding Adit’s hand.
Karthik calls Gayatri and says to Gayatri that he and Lakshmi will be a little late and asks Gayatri not to wait for them. Gayatri thinks where is Karthik taking Lakshmi that even she doesn’t know about it.
Sowmya later acts as if she congratulated Adit to cover up infront of Kusum and Mannan. Kusum and Mannan get shocked seeing Mangal standing on her feet. Adit’s family tells them what happened. Kusum and Mannan say to Mangal they are happy seeing her stand on her feet. Kusum later announces that tomorrow on the day of Janmashtami Sowmya’s parents are coming to fix the wedding date.
The next day, Adit’s family is shown to be celebrating Janmashtami. Sowmya’s parents come to Adit’s house.
The pandit also arrives after a while. The pandit checks Mannan and Sowmya’s kundali and says they can never be a marriage in between them as their Kindali are not joining. Mangal makes a suggestion to Kusum if they should take advice of another Pandit. The Pandit stops and says there is an auspicious date after 2 days. Adit’s family and Sowmya’s parents agree to that date.
Kusum asks Mangal to do jewelry shopping for Sowmya. Adit says he will take her. Mangal agrees.
Adit and Mangal come to the jewelry store. Adit sees a lady taking off her diamond earring and trying on jewelry. Adit sneakily puts it in Mangal’s groceries bag.
Adit goes to make a call to Sowmya. Adit says to Sowmya that they will send Mangal to jail due to which this marriage will be cancelled. Adit tells Sowmya what he did. The lady notices her earring going missing and searches for it. One of the people notices it in Mangal’s grocery bag. The lady accuses Mangal of stealing it.
