The episode starts with Adit staring at Mangal happily. Mangal asks Adit if she is looking strange in new attire. Adit replies that she is not and says she looks good. Kusum mentions that everything is new for them, so they are feeling uncomfortable. Adit reassures them, saying they look good and that it is only for a few days, so they should enjoy it. Mangal asks Adit to take photos so they can send them to their children. Adit takes selfies and sends them to Ishana and Neel. They then start exploring the city of Georgia.
Mangal notices a hot drink and orders it for Kusum, assuming it is a normal drink, unaware that it contains alcohol. Kusum drinks it. Later, Mangal asks Adit what he wanted to talk to her about earlier. Adit thinks about thanking her properly. He asks Mangal to walk ahead and goes to a florist to buy a bouquet to thank her. Meanwhile, in her inebriated state, Kusum sees a married couple doing a photoshoot and imagines Adit and Mangal in their place, feeling happy.
A speeding car is about to hit Mangal while she is crossing the road. Adit notices it in time, drops the bouquet, and saves Mangal. He scolds her for being careless. Hearing Adit scolding Mangal, Kusum comes out of her imagination. Adit asks Mangal to be careful. Kusum starts feeling dizzy due to intoxication. Adit asks Kusum if she is fine, and she replies that she is okay. Mangal feels Kusum may not be well as she has not eaten anything. Adit suggests eating at a nearby restaurant. Kusum refuses, saying she cannot eat at a place where non-vegetarian food is prepared. Adit says it is difficult to find a purely vegetarian restaurant. Mangal takes out paratha and pickle and asks Kusum to eat. Adit says they cannot eat it just anywhere and suggests sitting on a bench.
Kusum starts eating the paratha and pickle, and people around them stare in surprise. Adit scolds Mangal, saying everyone is staring at them and they are getting embarrassed. A woman approaches them. Adit apologizes, saying his mother is hungry and they will leave soon. The woman says she just wants to taste the food because it smells good. Adit informs Mangal, who gives her a paratha. The woman praises the food and leaves. Kusum praises Mangal. Adit asks Kusum to finish eating quickly as they need to leave for the meeting, otherwise Bhabhi ji will get upset.
Sowmya assumes Adit has called her. She checks the number, answers the call, and questions why he contacted her despite her asking him not to meet her. He insists on meeting her at a café, and Sowmya agrees. Neel shows the photos of Mangal, Adit, and Kusum to Shanti, who feels happy. Neel notices Sowmya there and asks her to see the photos. Shanti tells Sowmya not to go anywhere and to work from home. Sowmya then receives a message from that person asking her to meet him, which makes her tense.
In Georgia, Mangal receives a warm welcome at the meeting, while Adit is treated as her assistant. During the meeting, the representative says that according to the contract, Mangal has to shift to Georgia to work with them and asks her to shake hands if she agrees. Mangal shakes hands. Adit questions her about agreeing to shift to Georgia. Mangal says she did not understand the terms. Adit is about to reject the deal, but the representative asks him to let Mangal speak. Mangal tries to explain, but they cannot understand her. The representative helps by providing a translator on the phone.
Mangal shares that her mother and mother-in-law taught her cooking and are her inspiration. She explains that she does not want to leave her country and shift to Georgia. She says Pehla Swad was started to help people living away from their homeland experience the taste of their mother’s food. She adds that Pehla Swad belongs to India and will always remain a Bharatiya brand. Mangal states that the true taste of Pehla Swad can only be created in India and apologizes, saying she cannot shift to Georgia. She concludes that her identity is connected to India, so she cannot work with their company.

Precap: Mangal disguises herself as a dancer to hide from the drug dealers. One of the drug dealers recognizes her and demands to know where the drugs are. Mangal throws dirt into his eyes and runs away, but the drug dealer chases her.
Mangal calls out to Adit to save her. The drug dealer shoots Mangal. Adit finds her in critical condition and becomes deeply worried.
