The episode starts with Mangal delivering an idol to an old man’s house. The old man blesses her for helping him. Meanwhile, Kusum notices her hair has been cut short and confronts the beautician, asking why they cut her hair. The beautician replies that Kusum Malhotra had booked an appointment for a bob cut. Shocked, Kusum clarifies that she is Kusum Saxena, not Malhotra. Sowmya enjoys the situation, laughing as Kusum cries, wondering how she can face Mangal in this look. She decides not to go. The manager scolds the beautician for not verifying the client’s details properly.
Mangal calls Kusum and says she is on her way to complete the delivery, asking Kusum to manage the stage until she arrives. Kusum, still upset, tells Mangal she can’t go because of her short hair. Mangal, unable to hear Kusum properly, encourages her to manage the show and reminds her they must make Ishana proud in this round. Kusum breaks down in tears.
The anchor welcomes the judges. The judges refuse to invest in Niketan’s product, and the competition team discusses disqualifying Mangal since she hasn’t arrived yet. Niketan’s mother informs him he still has a chance. Kusum arrives with her head covered and insists that Mangal will come. The team pushes Kusum to represent Mangal’s idea. During a break, the judges question why Kusum is presenting instead of Mangal. The anchor announces that Mangal’s mother-in-law is presenting her daughter-in-law’s business idea.
Kusum struggles to open the product with one hand, and the audience laughs at her. One judge asks Kusum to present the product, while the others argue that disqualification is the best option. The anchor teases that the result will be revealed after the break. Just as the judge is about to disqualify Mangal, she arrives. Mangal asks Kusum why she’s covering her face, but the judges interrupt, demanding an explanation for her late arrival.
Sidhant requests the judges to give Mangal one chance, but they refuse and declare that Mangal and Kusum are disqualified. Mangal feels heartbroken and disappointed.
In another scene:
Jia urges Raghuveer to apply sindoor in Lakshmi’s hairline. Lakshmi resists, asking Jia to stop. Gayatri senses that Jia’s pressure might force Lakshmi to reveal the truth. To escalate things, Gayatri applies sindoor to Lakshmi’s mang herself. Jia then insists Lakshmi leave with her husband. Karthik intervenes, stating Lakshmi can stay as long as she wants. He confronts Lakshmi, asking why she refuses to go back to Raghuveer.
Raghuveer tells Lakshmi to follow her heart, assuring her she can come to him whenever she’s ready. He thanks everyone for letting his wife stay in their house and leaves. Karthik then takes Gayatri aside to talk privately.
Later, Lakshmi confronts Jia for her actions. Jia snaps back, declaring that she will never let Lakshmi and Karthik stay close. Umesh tells Gayatri that she’s being unfair to Lakshmi, but Gayatri justifies her actions, believing she’s doing what’s best. Jia pressures Karthik to reconcile Lakshmi with Raghuveer, and he reluctantly agrees.
Jia then goes to Lakshmi, pretending to help her pack her bags. Lakshmi sees through the act and asks Jia to drop the drama. Jia bluntly says Lakshmi is going back to Raghuveer’s house. Lakshmi asserts that this is her home and no one can throw her out, not even Jia. She declares that no one can separate her and Karthik.
Jia coldly reminds Lakshmi that she left Karthik’s room, and now she’ll be leaving the house too, revealing that Karthik has gone to meet Raghuveer. Lakshmi storms out in shock, while Jia packs her bag. Lakshmi confronts Gayatri, demanding to know why Karthik went to Raghuveer’s house. She pleads with Gayatri for help, but Gayatri turns away, refusing to intervene.
