The episode starts with Adit telling Sowmya that he only loves her and is doing all of this to show Kusum that he cares for Mangal. Kusum asks Sowmya where Mangal is. Sowmya says Mangal is unconscious and lying in the corridor. Kusum asks the manager to open the door. Karthik and the manager open the door.
Everyone sees Mangal unconscious on the bed. In a flashback, Adit and Sowmya bring Mangal into the room and place her on the bed, while Sowmya hides from them. Shanti asks Adit why he didn’t open the door. Adit replies that they would have created a scene like they are doing now. Lakshmi sprinkles water on Mangal, helping her regain consciousness. Lakshmi asks Mangal why she fainted. Mangal says she doesn’t know and only remembers heading to the Mandap with Lipika. Adit explains that Mangal fainted due to the fasting (Vrath) she was doing. Lakshmi, however, says there must be another reason, as Mangal is used to fasting. Adit comments on it. He then asks Mangal if she will be able to perform the ritual. Mangal says yes.
Adit and Mangal proceed with the wedding ritual. As they get ready to take the pheras (vows), Mangal feels dizzy. Adit lifts Mangal in his arms and completes the pheras. Sowmya watches from a distance and silently says to Mangal that no matter how many times she marries Adit, Adit will always belong to her.
Kusum performs aarti for both Mangal and Adit. She praises Mangal, and then Mangal performs the Gruhpravesh ritual under Kusum’s instructions.
Adit receives a call from his boss and steps away to take it. His boss reprimands him for not doing his work properly and informs him that his project is being reassigned to Suresh Menon, and his salary will be reduced by 25%. Adit silently blames Mangal for this and mutters comments about her.
Sowmya calls Adit and informs him that their boss is furious and has handed over his project to Suresh Menon. Adit again blames Mangal and makes harsh remarks about her. In frustration, Adit throws his phone. Mangal approaches and offers him water. Adit slaps the glass away. Mangal asks Adit to tell her if something is wrong. Adit grabs Mangal’s hand tightly, causing her bangles to break and injuring her. Lakshmi witnesses this.
Lakshmi confronts Adit, asking how he could hurt his own wife and says he should be ashamed. Adit tells Lakshmi to stop talking nonsense, denying that anything happened. Lakshmi shows him the blood on Mangal’s hand and asks, “What is this?” Lakshmi insists she saw everything. Mangal, however, tells Lakshmi that it was an accident. Lakshmi urges Mangal not to cover for Adit. Adit asks Lakshmi who she is to question him and makes derogatory remarks about her. Lakshmi retorts, telling Adit he could go to jail for raising his hand against a woman. Sowmya overhears everything and decides to use the situation to her advantage.
