The episode begins with Adit questioning Mangal about why she interfered in his office. Mangal explains that she spoke up because his investor was about to leave, and she merely pointed out the mistake he made in his presentation. However, Adit accuses her of using the opportunity to humiliate him in front of everyone. He asks if her only purpose in coming to his office is to deliver his food and calls her an idiot. Kusum tries to calm Adit, but he insists that he is not wrong this time and storms off. Sowmya adds fuel to the fire by saying that Adit was insulted because of Mangal.
Later, Adit hands over his certificates to Kusum, boasting about being a graduate. He belittles Mangal, pointing out that she is only a 9th-grade pass and could never compete with him. Mangal, hurt but composed, responds that he has been ridiculing their relationship for the past 15 years. Determined to prove herself, she fetches a bag to show him something.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi asks Karthik if he is okay. Karthik reassures her, and she tells him she is going to the Mandir before leaving. Shortly after, Jia approaches Karthik and seeks his help, behaving overly familiar with him. Lakshmi notices Jia’s behavior but chooses not to react and walks away. Karthik wants to follow Lakshmi but gives in to Jia’s request to escort her to her room, promising to leave right after.
Back at home, Adit confronts Mangal again, accusing her of starting more drama. Mangal takes out their 9th-grade mark sheets and compares them, showing that her performance was better than his. She points out that marriage stopped her from continuing her education, unlike him. Mangal then declares her decision: although she initially planned to reject the job offer, his behavior has cleared her doubts. She decides to take the job to earn her self-respect. Mangal leaves the room, and Kusum admonishes Adit, warning him that if circumstances turn against him in the future, he won’t even be able to face Mangal.
On her way to the Mandir, Lakshmi reflects that the events around her are just a part of the shoot. She decides to text Karthik to assure him that she’s fine, but then realizes her phone is missing. She asks the driver to take her back to the set.
Meanwhile, Karthik and Jia enter a lift that suddenly gets stuck. Jia panics as they shout for help, but Karthik’s phone has no signal. Jia begins to feel suffocated and eventually faints. Lakshmi arrives back at the set to retrieve her phone and notices a crowd gathered near the lift. She inquires about the commotion, and as the lift door opens, everyone sees Jia and Karthik in a seemingly intimate, hugging position. The onlookers begin gossiping, accusing celebrities of continuing affairs even after marriage. Hurt by the scene, Lakshmi leaves without saying a word. Karthik, concerned for Jia, asks the crowd to step aside as he rushes her to the hospital.
At home, Mangal prepares food while tears stream down her face, recalling Adit’s harsh words. Resolving to fight for her future, she wipes her tears and regains her determination. Lakshmi, on the other hand, returns home, feeling conflicted. She wonders if Mangal could have helped clear her doubts but stops herself from calling her, remembering Mangal’s vow. Lakshmi breaks down in tears.
Meanwhile, Mangal also misses Lakshmi and feels emotional. She calls Isha and informs her that she will join the office from the next day. Isha congratulates her and ends the call. Mangal prays to God for strength and guidance.
