The episode begins with Adit instructing the hospital staff to treat Kusum quickly, saying he can’t leave her in the mental asylum for long. Just then, he notices Mangal and hurriedly ends the call. Mangal asks him what happened, but Adit brushes it off, saying nothing, and leaves. Mangal prays to Maata Rani, asking for guidance to find out the truth about Kusum. Meanwhile, Kusum is locked in a dark room at the asylum. She cries out for Mangal’s help, while Mangal feels restless at home.
The next day, Adit calls the hospital to check on Kusum’s condition. Sowmya answers the phone and scolds him for troubling the staff with his repeated calls. Adit agrees but says Mangal won’t stop until she learns the truth about Kusum. Sowmya dismisses his concern, reminding him that he is Kusum’s son and has the right to make decisions for her. Inwardly, Sowmya thinks that Kusum will lose her sanity in the hospital.
Later, Mangal finds a hospital receipt in the car while searching for Akshat water. She becomes suspicious and decides to visit the mental asylum. At the reception, she learns that Kusum is admitted there. Shocked, Mangal realizes Adit lied to her. She requests the receptionist to let her meet Kusum and take her home, but the receptionist refuses, stating she needs a letter of permission from Adit. Meanwhile, Kusum tries to escape but is caught by the guards. They inject her with a sedative and take her back to her room before Mangal can see her.
Mangal confronts Adit in his office, interrupting his meeting. After the staff leaves, Mangal accuses Adit of lying and questions him about admitting Kusum to the mental asylum. She shows him the parking slip as proof and asks how he could do such a thing to his own mother, reminding him of everything she did for them. Adit defends his decision, saying he couldn’t bear to see Kusum’s condition and thought it was for her betterment. Mangal criticizes him for making decisions without consulting others, insisting that Kusum could be treated at home. Adit explains that he knew Mangal wouldn’t agree, which is why he kept it a secret. Outside the room, Sowmya worries that Mangal will ruin her plans. Mangal demands Adit accompany her to bring Kusum home, but Adit pleads with her not to disrupt Kusum’s treatment. However, Mangal remains firm.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi refuses to divorce Karthik and tells Jia she doesn’t need her help. Lakshmi walks away, but Jia angrily shouts that she will make Lakshmi regret it. Lakshmi later calls Raghuveer and informs him about Jia’s deal and her refusal. Raghuveer offers to pick her up, but Lakshmi says she will come herself. Jia, desperate, threatens to die. When Lakshmi returns to check on her, Jia makes her unconscious and ties a rope around her neck, intending to hang her.
Raghuveer becomes concerned when Lakshmi doesn’t show up and decides to check on her. Lakshmi regains consciousness as Jia reveals she has backup, saying Gayatri is alive and accusing Lakshmi of trying to fool her. Lakshmi asks if Jia has harmed Gayatri, but Jia ignores her questions. Raghuveer arrives, calling out for Lakshmi. Jia sets a trap so that Lakshmi will be hanged when Raghuveer opens the door and then leaves.
Raghuveer opens the door, but just in time, he manages to save Lakshmi. Sanjana arrives and helps them, apologizing to Lakshmi. Raghuveer asks how she ended up there. Sanjana explains that she came to expose the truth to Jia and her mother but instead witnessed their real nature and realized her mistake. She asks Lakshmi for a chance to make amends. Despite Raghuveer’s reservations, Lakshmi forgives her, saying Sanjana saved her life. Raghuveer questions if Sanjana is ready to testify in court, and she agrees.
Elsewhere, Nidhi tells Umesh she doesn’t trust Lakshmi and plans to call the police. Umesh tries to stop her. Meanwhile, Gayatri notices her water mug is empty. Feeling dizzy, she steps out of her room and collapses. Umesh catches her and rushes her to the hospital.
Later, Lakshmi visits Karthik in jail and feeds him food. Karthik tells Lakshmi he’s living only for her and apologizes for troubling her. He notices the mark on her neck and asks about it. Lakshmi tries to hide the truth, but Karthik insists. Finally, Lakshmi reveals Jia’s deal and what happened.
