The episode starts with Mangal telling Adit that she wants to meet him. Adit hangs up the call. Sowmya asks Adit what Mangal said to him, but Adit doesn’t respond and leaves.
Mangal recalls the moment when Adit told her he regretted marrying her and asked her to leave him. She also remembers Sowmya telling her that she is now Adit’s wife. Adit arrives to see Mangal. He tells her that he knows why she called him and assumes she wants to scold him for not taking care of Akshat. Adit asks Mangal to listen to him, but Mangal replies that it’s too late to listen. She tells Adit that she doesn’t want to get back together with him. Mangal criticizes Adit, saying he always called himself a father but never upheld a father’s duties. She tells him that from now on, he should not reach out to Akshat, as he has never been responsible for him.
Mangal mentions that Akshat wet his pants at school and blames Adit for putting his own desires ahead of the children’s well-being. She says he was never a good husband or father and declares that she will raise the children alone. Adit smiles to himself as he listens. Mangal tells him that he may wonder what a ninth-grade-educated woman can do, but she’ll raise the kids on her own. She asks Adit not to confuse Akshat and Ishana, then says she called him here because he once left her there, and now she’s leaving him. Mangal leaves. Adit is left recalling her words before leaving as well.
Sowmya wonders where Adit could have gone when she gets a call from her friends. She confirms their dinner plans and shares her location with them.
Kusum asks Mangal where she had been, telling her that Akshat is suffering from a high fever.
Meanwhile, Akshat, thinking of his father, gets out of bed and falls to the floor.
Mangal finds Akshat on the floor, helps him back into bed, tries to lower his temperature, and calls a doctor.
The doctor examines Akshat and tells Mangal she provided the right treatment; otherwise, the fever could have affected his brain. Mangal asks why Akshat hasn’t opened his eyes yet, and the doctor suggests he seems disturbed by something.
Adit dreams of returning home, but in his dream, Mangal and Kusum prevent him from seeing the children and ask him to leave. Adit wakes up from the dream.
Ishana calls Adit, asking why he left them, saying Akshat now has a high fever because of him, and tells Adit that she hates him. Worried about his son, Adit decides to go home.
Sowmya’s friends arrive for dinner and ask about her husband. Sowmya explains that he’s a workaholic and should be on his way.
Adit reaches home and asks Kusum to let him see Akshat. Kusum refuses, saying he will only give false hope to the children, as he once did to her, and hurt them even more. She criticizes Adit and asks him to leave. At that moment, Akshat comes to Adit, hugs him, and asks if he will stay with them.
