The episode starts with Adit answering Sowmya’s video call. Sowmya asks if he reached safely, and Adit says yes. Shanti tells Mangal that Adit is unlucky and she doesn’t like him to coming to their place. Mangal says that Adit is her children’s father, and since the kids are happy meeting him, she should let it go. Ishana and Akshat come there and thank Mangal for making them happy with gifts and shagun. Mangal says there’s no need to thank her as it’s her responsibility. They take photos together. Mangal asks them to wait with the nanny while she goes to give gifts to the watchman.
Sowmya asks Adit if the kids liked his gifts. Adit worries, thinking about what will happen if Mangal and the kids find out about Sowmya’s pregnancy. Just then, Mangal arrives and asks Adit if he called home. She asks how his parents are and requests to talk to them to take their blessings. Sowmya gives the phone to Kusum and leaves. Adit tells Kusum that Mangal wants to talk to her, but Kusum refuses. Mangal says it’s fine and wishes Kusum and her husband a very Happy Diwali. She also mentions that the kids loved her laddoos and disconnects the call. Kusum wishes Adit a Happy Diwali in return. She then asks Adit if he told the kids about Sowmya’s pregnancy. Adit says no, explaining that the kids have grown very close to Mangal and might hate him if they find out. Kusum advises him to tell them himself before they learn it from others. Adit agrees but says he won’t tell them today, as he just wants to celebrate Diwali peacefully. Kusum agrees and ends the call.
Mangal returns to the dhaba after buying some items and searches for the key. Neel secretly attaches a firecracker fuse to Mangal’s saree. Mangal’s kids arrive, take the key from her, and unlock the dhaba. They go inside while Mangal remains unaware of the firecrackers tied to her saree. Neel lights the firecracker. His friend warns him that if anything happens to Mangal, they’ll be in trouble. Neel says he just wants to teach her a lesson. Akshat notices the sparks and alerts Mangal. The firecrackers begin to burst, causing panic. Shanti and the kids worry for Mangal. Mangal tells them to stay back. Neel feels satisfied, thinking he has taught her a good lesson. However, Mangal quickly cuts off her saree pallu and throws it away, preventing any harm. Neel and his friends hide. Shanti expresses relief that Mangal is safe, and they discuss how it all happened.
Just then, Mangal sees her dhaba catching fire. She asks Shanti and the kids to stay away and tries to control the fire herself. Neel’s friends flee, leaving him behind. Adit arrives and helps Mangal extinguish the flames in the kitchen. While escaping, Neel is spotted by Mangal. She runs after him and questions why he set her dhaba on fire. Neel flees on his bicycle, but he meets with an accident—his head hits a tree, and he collapses, bleeding. Mangal hires an auto and rushes the injured Neel to the hospital.
At the hospital, the nurse asks Mangal to fill out the details of her son. Mangal says she isn’t his mother, but the nurse insists that she fill in whatever details she knows and pay for the treatment so they can begin. Mangal agrees. The nurse gives her Neel’s phone, and Mangal notices several missed calls from Neel’s mother. When Neel’s mother, Sunita, calls again, Mangal answers and informs her that Neel has met with an accident and is hospitalized. Sunita is shocked. Meanwhile, Adit gets angry that Mangal isn’t answering his calls and tells Shanti that her daughter ran away from the dhaba, leaving the kids distressed.
Sunita rushes to the hospital and asks about her son. The nurse tells her that the hospital doesn’t have Neel’s blood group. Sunita worries, saying she can’t donate blood herself. The nurse later informs her that Neel has found a donor. Sunita thanks her and goes to Neel’s room—only to find Mangal donating blood to him. Sunita recalls how she had exchanged her and Mangal’s babies sixteen years ago in the hospital without Mangal knowledge.
Adit continues to complain to Shanti that Mangal is irresponsible and has left his children alone. Shanti is confused and wonders where Mangal has gone. The nurse later tells Mangal that she saved the boy’s life by donating blood and bringing him in on time. Mangal smiles and says it’s all due to blessings. The nurse informs her that the boy’s mother is waiting outside. When Mangal comes out, Sunita thinks, “I need to tell Mangal the truth; otherwise, I’ll never be able to forgive myself.”
