The episode starts with Kusum and Mangal praying to God. Mangal praises Kusum for doing such a harsh fast like Jeevit Putrika Ka Vrat for Adit at her age. Kusum says she is doing this Vrat for Adit and mentions that by observing it, the children will have a good life and comments on it.
Kusum goes to Adit. Adit, thinking it is Mangal, says his reputation has already been destroyed and asks if Mangal expects him not to go to the office and lose his job. He asks Mangal to get coffee for him, but then sees it’s Kusum, not Mangal. Adit remembers that Kusum was also angry with Lakshmi yesterday. Adit tries to complain to Kusum about Mangal, but Kusum interrupts and says Mangal hasn’t done anything wrong. She tells Adit that she has been observing him since yesterday, and he’s been trying to cover up his own mistakes by blaming Mangal. Kusum reminds Adit that his mistake is unforgivable and asks him to behave properly with Mangal. Kusum leaves after commenting on him.
Kusum notices laddoo crumbs outside the door and thinks Mangal has overheard her conversation with Adit.
Mangal scolds Sudesh for eating sweets without informing her, especially when she is concerned about his sugar levels. Mangal leaves.
Later, Sudesh asks Kusum what he heard about Adit having an affair with Sowmya and how long she has known about it. He questions how Kusum can support Adit in this matter. Kusum denies ever supporting Adit, but Sudesh accuses her of hiding the truth from Mangal, which he believes is supporting Adit. Kusum explains that she kept it from Mangal to avoid hurting her. Sudesh declares that he will tell Mangal the truth if Kusum doesn’t.
Indu urges Lakshmi to eat something. Lakshmi says she is fasting, just as Gayatri is fasting for Karthik in the Jeevit Putrika Vrat. Gayatri tells Lakshmi to eat, warning that she might complain to the cops about not being taken care of. Lakshmi asks why Gayatri is speaking that way. Gayatri mentions that she filed the case against Adit and says she might do anything.
Sudesh apologizes to Mangal for hurting her by eating sweets and promises not to eat them again. Mangal forgives him. Kusum feels relieved that Sudesh hasn’t told Mangal the truth. Later, Sudesh tells Kusum to reveal the truth to Mangal before they return from the temple. Kusum agrees.
Sowmya decides to make Adit unknowingly sign the divorce papers. She uses an air cooler to make the papers on Adit’s desk fly and mixes the divorce papers with the office documents. When she asks Adit to sign the papers, he agrees without reading them. Adit receives a call and leaves to answer it. Sowmya sees that Adit has signed the divorce papers.
At the temple, Kusum gives a chunri to Mangal and asks her to go inside first. Sudesh calls Kusum, urging her to tell Mangal the truth at the temple.
Kusum sees a lady wearing the chunri and mistakenly thinks it’s Mangal. She reveals everything about Adit’s affair but later realizes it’s not Mangal.
Mangal arrives, and Kusum asks why she isn’t wearing the chunri. Mangal explains that she gave it to a lady whose jacket was torn. Kusum tells Mangal she thought the lady was her and had told her everything. Mangal asks what Kusum is talking about.
The episode ends.
