The episode begins with Pratima reaching the hospital and confronting Sowmya about filing a case against Kapil. Sowmya replies that Kapil deserves punishment. Pratima warns her to withdraw the complaint, but Sowmya refuses, insisting that Kapil must rot in jail and cannot be saved. Pratima taunts Sowmya, asking why she wants to remove Mangal from Adit’s life if this is her stand. Sowmya rebukes her.
Pratima then goes to Mangal’s room and finds her donating blood to Adit. Shocked, she stops Mangal and removes the drip, questioning how she can give blood to Adit while Kapil is suffering in jail. Pratima asks Mangal to choose whether she wants to live in the past or in the present. She demands to know why Mangal is saving Adit instead of thinking about Kapil. Pratima tries to take her away, but Mangal says that even if it wasn’t Adit, she would help anyone fighting for their life. She asks what Pratima would do if she were in Kusum’s place. Just then, the nurse arrives and scolds Pratima for removing the drip, saying the patient’s life is at risk. Mangal asks her to reinsert it, while Pratima leaves in anger.
Later, the doctor informs the family that the patient’s condition is still critical and the coming hours are crucial. Kusum cries, and Mangal consoles her, asking her to trust Maa Durga.
Meanwhile, Mangal receives a call from the lawyer, who informs her that Kapil’s bail has been rejected because of his past record. Distraught, Mangal asks what they can do, but the lawyer says it’s Kapil’s bad luck. Mangal prays to Bappa to remove obstacles and protect her loved ones.
Sudesh comes to Mangal and asks her to go home and rest, as she has donated blood. At first, she refuses, but Sudesh insists, asking her to go with the kids. Sowmya intervenes, saying they don’t need Mangal since their bahu is with them, and asks her to leave. Eventually, Mangal agrees and goes home with the children.
At home, Mangal involves Akshat and Ishana in the preparations for Ganesh Sthapana. Akshat questions how they can celebrate when their father is in the hospital. Mangal explains that praying to Bappa will help cure their father. Together, they happily make a Vinayak idol. Akshat praises their creation, and they take the idol to the temple room, covering it with a cloth. Just then, the doorbell rings. Mangal opens the door to find Shanti, who scolds her for donating blood to Adit and upsetting Pratima. Mangal sends the kids inside and rebukes Shanti for speaking about Adit’s character in front of them. Shanti argues that Mangal’s relationship with Kapil is being troubled because of Adit, and warns her not to help him. Mangal firmly says that although Adit never loved her, she once loved him and cannot let him die. She adds that Adit’s recovery is the only way Kapil can be proven innocent, as only Adit can reveal the truth. Shanti agrees and prays to Bappa to end Mangal’s troubles.
The next day, Akshat tells Ishana that he and Dada have brought fresh flowers. Sudesh asks Ishana to arrange the pooja thali since Mangal is in the kitchen and Kusum is at the hospital. Meanwhile, Mangal speaks to the lawyer over the phone, trying to find a way to arrange Kapil’s bail. Sowmya overhears this and thinks she cannot let Kapil be released.
Mangal checks the decorations and praises Ishana. Suddenly, the diya starts flickering, and Akshat worries if it’s a bad sign. Mangal calms them, saying it’s only because the window is open. Determined, Sowmya secretly places money in an envelope and writes Mangal’s name on it, plotting against her.
Mangal then asks Ishana to light the Akhand Jyoti diya, assuring that it will not extinguish. When Ishana fails, Mangal lights it herself. Everyone feels relieved and happy. Mangal prays to Bappa to protect both Kapil and Adit.
