The episode starts with Adit saying to Soumya how Mangal took a stand for Lakshmi and made his mother upset. Soumya comments on the situation. Kusum and Mangal help Lakshmi to get ready. Kusum asks Mangal to send a photo of Lakshmi to Gayatri . Mangal agrees. They send Lakshmi to meet Karthik. Lakshmi comes to the cafe. A make-up artist says to Lakshmi that Karthik asked her to wear this dress and come to the cafe. Lakshmi agrees.
Mangal and Kusum prepare laddoos. They hope Karthik and Lakshmi like each other. Karthik waits for Lakhsmi. He sees the decorations and tells the manager that he just wants a normal table. The manager tells him that it’s an order of madam. Karthik’s friends come there and meet Karthik. Lakshmi comes there in a western dress. Lakshmi slips and falls in the cafe. Karthik notices it is Lakshmi and gets shocked. Karthik’s friends make fun of Lakshmi. Karthik stops his friends. Lakshmi tells Karthik that she did wrong by coming to meet him. She tells him that they are different and she is not set for him. She tells him that she can’t change her identity for him. Karthik asks when did he ask her to change. She rebukes him and leaves from there hiring an auto.
Gayatri on a video call tells Kusum that Lakshmi is looking good in the photo and she is waiting for Karthik’s call. Kusum says they can call Pandit and fix the marriage date. Shanti takes Mangal aside and asks Mangal how they can do Lakshmi’s marriage. She asks if she is planning to sell the house. Mangal says it’s Lakshmi’s house so it’s fine to sell it for Lakshmi’s happiness.
Kusum asks Mangal to come home after knowing Lakshmi’s decision. She leaves from Mangal’s house. Mangal calls Lakshmi. Lakshmi comes home in western attire. Mangal gets shocked to see her. She asks Lakshmi about her attire. Lakshmi says Karthik is the reason behind her look.
Karthik asks Sanjana why she created the mess. He says he wanted to meet Lakshmi to tell her that he can’t marry her but she spoiled everything. Sanjana says she did it for him and asks him to not tell Gayatri about her involvement.
Lakshmi says to Mangal how she got humiliated in front of Karthik’s friends. Mangal says she never expected this behaviour from Karthk. Lakshmi says she can’t match Karthik’s expectations and asks Mangal to tell Gayatri and Kusum that she can’t marry Karthik. She regrets going to meet Karthik. Kusum comes there and overhears everything in shock.
