The episode starts with Mangal saying to everyone that she doesn’t want Lakshmi to become 3rd wife to Nithin. Adit asks what she meant by 3rd wife. Mangal says she learned about Nithin’s background from Pandit. Nithin says 3rd marriage is not a crime. He insults Lakshmi and her family status. Adit says he can’t insult anyone in this way. Nithin rebukes him. Mrs. Bharadwaj says Lakshmi’s family doesn’t have the status to match their level. Mangal says that Lakshmi will marry someone who respects her and not like Nithin. Nithin continues to insult them. Adit loses his cool and asks them to get out. Nithin and his family leave from there.
Kusum asks Adit why he talked to Nithin in that way as he knows his boss. Adit says he couldn’t see their insult. He says his meeting is wasted because of Mangal. He asks his mother to come with him so he will drop her at home. Kusum says she will call Mangal. Adit says Mangal will come by herself. They leave.
Mangal consoles Lakshmi. Santhi comes there and scolds Mangal for spoiling her marriage for Lakshmi. Lipika shows expensive gifts Nithin’s family brought to their house to Lakshmi. Santhi says Lakshmi’s a burden to them and says it’s good if Lakshmi gets married to Nithin. Mangal asks if she is ready to do Lipika’s marriage with Nithin. Santhi says she will never do it. Mangal reminds Santhi that their family is surviving because of Lakshmi. She says she still remembered the word she gave to her Chachi so she would get Lakshmi married to a suitable groom. She hugs Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks Mangal to not cry.
Later Mangal calls Adit but he doesn’t answer Mangal’s calls. Lakshmi asks Mangal if Adit is not answering. Mangal diverts the topic by telling Lakshmi that she will get a great husband. On the other side, Karthik is sitting on his knees and gifting his girlfriend the earrings for their first anniversary. Zia feels disappointed. He asks why she is dissociated. Zia says I thought you will propose with a ring for marriage but seems like you want more time. Karthik proposes to her with a ring. Zia feels elated and hugs him. Karthik receives an important call from a music company. He tells his situation to Zia and leaves for his work.
In the kitchen, Mangal prepares food. She feels scared thinking about Adit. Kusum enters the kitchen and turns off the stove. She lightens Mangal’s mood with her words. Later, Mangal finishes her work. Lakshmi video calls Mangal and apologizes to Mangal for troubling her. She asks if she talked to Adit. Mangal recalls Adit’s behavior. She thinks Adit will be mad at her.
