The episode starts with Lipika tampering with Lakshmi’s Haldi. Mangal gets surprised seeing Lipika in the kitchen and she asks Lipika what is she doing here. Lipika makes up a reason for it. Mangal leaves from there. Lipika comments on Lakshmi in her heart.
Sowmya comes to the Haldi ceremony and praises Kusum and the decoration done by her. Kusum says Mangal deserves this praise as she is the one who did all of this decoration. Kusum praises Mangal. Adit asks Sowmya to sit with the ladies. Kusum says to Sowmya that she can’t sit with the ladies as only married ladies sit here. Kusum asks Sowmya to sit with Lipika.
Karthik is shown to be having Haldi ceremony in his home. Lakshmi is shown to be having Haldi ceremony in her home.
Mangal and other ladies tries to wash off the Uptan of Lakshmi but it doesn’t go off. Mangal worries about it. Kusum asks Mangal to ask Lakshmi to have a bath and says Uptan will completely come off.
Mangal sees Lakshmi’s Uptan hasn’t come off even after taking a bath. Lakshmi complaints to Mangal that this Haldi is not coming off no matter how much she tries. Mangal asks Lipika if she tampered with the Haldi. Lipika says Lakshmi is the one who made this Haldi not them. Mangal thinks of how to wipe off the Haldi on Lakshmi’s body. Lipika says there is no use trying and comments on it. Lipika says instead it is better to think of a way to do this ritual quickly. Lipika says she has an idea.
Mangal brings Lakshmi by putting a big veil over her. Kusum asks Mangal why did she bring Lakshmi like this. Mangal says the Haldi over Lakshmi’s body hasn’t been wiped off.
Gayatri asks Lakshmi why has she worn such a big veil. Gayatri takes off the veil and sees Lakshmi’s face and gets shocked the Haldi over Lakshmi’s face. Sanjana mocks Lakshmi. Karthik says it is just Haldi and says the Haldi will go off after 2 days. Lakshmi thinks Karthik stood for her once again and stopped her from becoming a joke.
Gayatri asks Karthik to put mud bangles with these Gold bangles to Lakshmi’s hand. Karthik agrees.
Sowmya calls Adit and asks Adit to wear her mud bangles with his hand. Adit agrees at Sowmya’s insistence.
Lakshmi dreams of doing a romantic dance with Karthik. Lakshmi gets her hand injured. Karthik says to Lakshmi in her heart that he will betray her just like she betrayed him. Karthik says he will leave her alone at the Mandap.
