The episode starts with Mangal noticing someone spying on them. She calls out, asking who is there, but the person leaves in a hurry. Shanti comes out and asks Mangal what happened. Mangal explains the situation. Shanti says, “Maybe it’s Neel. He’s been following us. You should’ve listened to Adit and filed a complaint against him.” Shanti then goes inside.
Mangal finds a chit that says to meet near the temple at 8 PM. She thinks it must be Neel and decides to go there to confront him. She tells Shanti that she’s going out to buy vegetables and leaves.
Meanwhile, Adit is enjoying time outside with the kids. Kusum video calls him and asks him to tell the kids about Sowmya’s pregnancy soon. Adit says he will tell them at the right time.
Mangal reaches the temple and sees a person covered with a rug. Thinking it’s Neel, she turns the person around and is shocked to see it’s Neel’s mother, Sunita. Mangal angrily asks, “Why are you spying on my house? You and your son are troubling us again and again. Why?” Mangal warns her that she will file a complaint. Sunita falls at Mangal’s feet and pleads, saying, “I’m not your enemy. I’m here to tell you the truth.”
Mangal asks, “What truth? I don’t even know you.” Sunita replies, “It’s a secret from 16 years ago. You had a daughter, Ishana, right? But actually, you gave birth to a boy, not a girl.” Mangal is shocked and says, “You must be mistaken. I have a daughter.” Sunita insists, “Ishana is not your daughter. Your son’s name is—” Before she can finish, a car hits Sunita. She collapses, bleeding. Mangal panics and asks her to wake up, but Sunita falls unconscious. Mangal rushes her to the hospital. The doctor and his team take Sunita into the operating theatre. Mangal recalls Sunita’s words.
Mangal receives a call from Ishana. After the operation, the doctor comes out and tells Mangal, “Sunita has slipped into a coma. If you know her family, please inform them.” Mangal stands worried.
A lady doctor sees Mangal and recognizes her. She says, “We discussed your case just two days ago. You had a complicated delivery here, right?” Mangal nods. The doctor says, “You gave birth to a miracle boy who cried two minutes after birth. How is he now?” Mangal looks confused and says, “I have a baby girl.” The doctor wonders aloud, “Why did I think it was a boy?” The nurse reminds the doctor about another case, and the doctor says maybe she was mistaken and leaves. Mangal grows more confused, recalling both Sunita’s and the doctor’s words about her giving birth to a boy.
On her way back home, Mangal rides her cycle through mud. Neel also passes by, splashing mud on Ishana. Ishana scolds him, but he leaves. Adit sees this and realizes the boy is Neel. He decides to teach him a lesson.
Later, Mangal sees the same worker who had earlier come to her house and got scared. She notices the worker sitting near Sunita and confronts her to tell the truth. Meanwhile, Adit follows Neel in his car. Ishana asks Adit to let Neel go, saying he’s a local rowdy, but Adit insists, “He must be taught a lesson, or he’ll never change.”
The worker finally confesses, “Sixteen years ago, I worked as a maid at the hospital. Sunita came to me with her baby girl and said her family didn’t want a girl. They would kill the baby if they found out. She asked me if anyone had given birth to a boy, and I showed her your case. When you were unconscious after delivery, Sunita swapped the babies.”
Meanwhile, Adit makes Neel fall off his bicycle. He steps out of the car and warns him, “Stop messing with my kids and others.” Neel retorts, “Stop lecturing me! I’m not your son. Who’s going to pay for my cycle repair?”
Back at the hospital, the worker reveals to Mangal, “Neel is your son, and Ishana is Sunita’s daughter.” Mangal is left utterly shocked.
