The episode starts with Shanti helping Mangal to fix the gas. They heat the water. Shanti gives hot water to Neel and asks him to bathe. Neel sees Sudesh and asks him to bathe first. Mangal is about to pour another bucket of hot water for Ishana, but it accidentally falls on her hand, burning her. Kusum comes there and gets worried on seeing Mangal’s burnt hand. Kusum applies cream to Mangal’s wound. Mangal says she is fine. Kusum, in tears, says that she allowed Sowmya to stay in the house thinking about where a pregnant Sowmya would go, and now Sowmya has made them homeless. She says they did wrong to Mangal, and that is why God is punishing them. Mangal asks Kusum not to speak like that and says that even in her anger, her love is hidden. She assures Kusum that God will help them get their house back, so she should not worry. Kusum agrees.
Later, Ishana takes care of Akshat, who has a fever. Adit tells Ishana that he and her mother will take care of everything. Ishana says they trust him. Adit then sees a video in which Sowmya has put their house up for sale. Adit calls Sowmya and questions how she can dare to sell his house. Sowmya replies that it is her house, that she is getting offers worth crores, and that she will sell it soon to settle her life. She tells Adit to think about his own life and cuts the call. Ishana asks Adit what happened. Adit recalls everything and falls unconscious due to shock. The children, Mangal, and Adit’s parents panic and try to wake him.
The doctor checks Adit and tells Mangal that Adit suffered a panic attack due to extreme stress. Kusum asks if Adit will be fine. The doctor says he will prescribe medicines and advises them to keep Adit away from stress as his condition is delicate. After the doctor leaves, Kusum says they will be forced to live on the streets if Sowmya sells the house. Mangal assures her that everything will be fine.
Neel gets furious with Sowmya. Mangal notices that Neel is missing and asks Ishana to tell him to bring Adit’s medicines. Ishana goes outside and sees Neel collecting petrol from a bike. When Ishana asks what he is doing, Neel says he will not spare Sowmya and will burn her house. Ishana tries to stop him, saying it is wrong, but Neel does not listen and leaves. Ishana rushes to Mangal and informs her about Neel’s plan.
Neel pours petrol outside the house. Sowmya sees him and questions his actions. Neel says that she threw him and his family out of their father’s house and that he has come to punish her for her sins. He takes out a matchbox. Sowmya watches in shock as Neel lights the matchstick. She begs him to stop, but Neel is about to set the house on fire when Mangal arrives in time and stops him. Mangal scolds Neel for his actions and asks him how he can stoop to Sowmya’s level. She tells him to control his anger and says that the house belongs to them and no one can snatch it away. She sends Neel home.
Sowmya claps sarcastically and accuses Mangal of sending her son to scare her and then acting noble by stopping him. Mangal reminds Sowmya that Adit and his parents forgave her even after she tried to kill Sudesh ji. She questions why Sowmya is destroying the family she received. Sowmya replies that everyone loves Mangal and that Mangal’s existence is her problem. Mangal says Sowmya snatched her family and is now blaming her for everything. She asks Sowmya what she really wants.
Sowmya then brings out some papers and asks Mangal to sign the agreement. She says she will return the house to the family on one condition—that Mangal must sever all ties with Adit, his family, and even her children. She warns that if Mangal breaks the agreement, she will go to jail. Sowmya challenges Mangal, saying she knows Mangal can do anything for the family. Mangal is left shocked.
