The episode begins with Mangal preparing to sign the divorce papers when she receives a call from Shanti. Lipika becomes anxious about her lies being exposed. Mangal asks Shanti if she is alright. Lipika then asks Mangal what happened, and Mangal tells Lipika to accompany her to Shanti’s house.
Karthik arrives home and asks Gayatri why she has prepared so much food. Gayatri replies that she wanted to spend some quality time with him, which is why she cooked all the food. Karthik agrees and says he will go call Lakshmi. Gayatri informs him that Lakshmi isn’t home. Karthik asks where Lakshmi has gone, but Gayatri says she doesn’t know. She then tells Karthik that she has already explained to Lakshmi that they are a respected family, and Lakshmi shouldn’t leave the house without informing them. She adds that it’s now Karthik’s turn to talk to Lakshmi about this. Karthik stays silent.
Lakshmi goes to Adit’s house and calls for Mangal. Kusum informs her that Mangal isn’t home and asks why she wants to meet her. Lakshmi says she has something important to tell Mangal. Kusum presses her to reveal what it is. Lakshmi hesitates, but Kusum insists, making Lakshmi swear on Mangal to tell the truth. Lakshmi finally confesses that Sowmya took her phone and filed a police complaint against Adit. Lakshmi reveals that Sowmya is the one responsible for the case. Shocked, Kusum asks why Sowmya would do such a thing. Lakshmi admits that she’s been wondering the same. Kusum speculates that Sowmya wants to take Adit’s place in the office and ruin his reputation. She tells Lakshmi not to tell anyone and says she will handle it herself by informing Adit. Lakshmi agrees and leaves. Kusum, meanwhile, vows to teach Sowmya a lesson.
Meanwhile, Mangal and Lipika arrive at Shanti’s house and discover that Shanti is having an asthma attack. Mangal helps her use an inhaler, and Shanti thanks her for arriving in time. Later, while talking, Mangal asks Shanti why she sent Lipika to learn cooking from her. Shanti, confused, asks what she means. Mangal explains that Lipika told her that Shanti scolded her for not knowing how to cook. Shanti turns to Lipika and asks when she ever scolded her.
Elsewhere, Sowmya calls Adit and asks him to meet her at their favorite café. Adit agrees and picks up Akshat from school. On their way, Akshat asks if they can go see a movie he likes. Adit agrees and messages Sowmya to cancel their meeting.
Lipika, meanwhile, tells Mangal that she wanted to surprise Shanti, which is why she lied. She apologizes to Mangal, who says she could have just told the truth. Lipika then receives a message from Sowmya asking her to come outside. Mangal asks Lipika to make tea for them, and Lipika agrees and heads to the kitchen.
Sowmya is irritated after receiving Adit’s message canceling their meeting. Lipika comes out to meet her and asks why she is torturing her, reminding Sowmya that she promised to do her work. Lipika pleads with Sowmya to stop tormenting her. When Lipika tries to leave, Sowmya stops her, asking if she has forgotten who she is talking to. Sowmya reminds her of what she is capable of. In desperation, Lipika tells Sowmya to just kill her and end the suffering. Lipika begs Sowmya not to force her to do this anymore.
Meanwhile, Shanti asks Mangal if she is happy at home. Akshat calls Mangal from Adit’s phone and tells her they are going to see a movie. He quickly ends the call. Mangal comments to Shanti that Adit is trying to change for the better and says more about it. Noticing the time is 4 p.m., Mangal decides to leave.
Sowmya orders Lipika to stop her emotional drama and get back to work. As Mangal exits the house, Sowmya hides from her. Mangal asks Lipika what she is doing outside, and Lipika responds that she came out to buy some milk.
Sowmya, annoyed because her massage appointment is running late, hears the door open and assumes it’s the massage therapist. She calls out for her to get started. Instead, Kusum slaps Sowmya, revealing that it’s her who has come to confront her.
