The episode starts with Mangal telling Adit that she doesn’t need to read these papers and says they can’t be divorce papers. Mangal gives the papers to Adit, thinking they are Adit’s office papers. Adit leaves.
Adit goes to his room and tears the divorce papers. Sowmya calls Adit and asks if he got Mangal’s signature on the divorce papers. Adit responds, saying it wasn’t possible to get her signature as the papers had been ruined. Sowmya says she knew he would come up with an excuse like this. She tells him she made two copies of the divorce papers and already got his signature on both. Sowmya adds that she will get Mangal’s signature and finalize the divorce.
Kusum and Mangal break their fast after the ritual. They praise each other for completing the ritual.
While eating, Akshat asks Ishana for her phone, saying he wants to check the meaning of divorce. Kusum asks Akshat where he heard that word. Adit says Akshat might have heard it while watching a movie. Kusum comments on the word “divorce” and tells Akshat never to say it again as it is a bad word. Akshat agrees.
Sowmya calls Lipika, but Lipika doesn’t answer. Sowmya sends the photos she used to blackmail Lipika before. Upon seeing the photos, Lipika calls Sowmya. Lipika begs Sowmya not to blackmail her, saying that if she is exposed, Adit and Sowmya will be exposed as well. Sowmya asks Lipika to listen and then reads Lipika’s private chat with her boyfriend. Lipika, shocked, asks if Sowmya hacked her profile. Sowmya admits to it and says she’ll do whatever is necessary to get Lipika to do her bidding. Lipika still refuses. Seeing this, Sowmya sends the compromising photos of Lipika and her boyfriend to Mangal right in front of Lipika. Lipika is horrified.
Lakshmi recalls what Sowmya said to her. She runs into Gayatri and asks if she is going somewhere. Gayatri says yes. Lakshmi realizes that Karthik and Gayatri are both out and thinks it’s the perfect time to learn more about Sowmya.
The Sakhi Women NGO ladies visit Adit’s house to meet Mangal. They tell Mangal that they assist women like her, who are victims of domestic violence. They suggest that Mangal must have been under pressure, which is why she withdrew her police complaint. They try to convince her to divorce Adit, assuring her of their support. Mangal clarifies that she is not a victim of domestic violence and that Adit has never raised a hand against her. She asks the NGO ladies to leave, stating that if any problems arise, she and Kusum, her biggest support system, will handle them. The NGO ladies leave.
Lakshmi disguises herself as a maid at Sowmya’s office, covering her face with a mask. Lakshmi stares at Sowmya’s feet but is unable to see them due to Sowmya’s dress. Sowmya notices Lakshmi staring and confronts her, asking who she is and why she is staring. Lakshmi, pretending to be new, apologizes to Sowmya for staring. Lakshmi falls at Sowmya’s feet, trying to see both legs, but can only see one. The peon stops Lakshmi, tells her to let go of Sowmya’s leg, and sends her away. Lakshmi realizes she still needs to see Sowmya’s legs to confirm her suspicion.
Kusum tells Mangal not to be upset. Mangal, still troubled by her encounter with the Sakhi Women NGO ladies and their talk about divorce, comments on the situation.
