The episode starts with Adit getting scared after seeing a toy cockroach. Sudesh tells him not to be afraid. Adit says he is scared of cockroaches. Sudesh explains that it is just a toy and assures him that they are his parents. Akshat takes the toy closer to Adit, who then relaxes and begins playing with him. Meanwhile, Sowmya calls the doctor to check on Adit.
Adit continues playing with Akshat when the doctor arrives. Sowmya asks the doctor if they gave any wrong treatment, blaming Mangal by saying she massaged Adit with a jadi-buti potli, after which he regained consciousness but started behaving strangely. She insists it is Mangal’s mistake. The doctor clarifies that Mangal’s treatment actually helped Adit recover, but due to shock, he now has the mental state of an 8-year-old. He advises that Adit should be kept happy and assures that he will recover soon. The doctor then asks the nurse to give an injection. However, Akshat prevents the nurse from administering it. Sowmya gets angry and scolds Adit to take the injection. Afraid, Adit hides behind Mangal and refuses. Mangal comforts him and tells the nurse to give the injection later. The nurse agrees and leaves. Adit hugs Mangal and calls her good, frustrating Sowmya.
Adit innocently asks Mangal and others about their names. Mangal introduces everyone — herself, Kusum, and Sudesh. Kusum cries, and Adit asks why she is crying. Mangal tells him Kusum is his mother and Sudesh his father. Akshat and Ishana introduce themselves, and Adit seeks Akshat’s permission to play with his toys. Kusum, Sudesh, and Mangal leave. Sowmya tries to control Adit, but he childishly taunts her.
Kusum cries before God. Mangal consoles her, assuring that Adit will recover soon. Sowmya arrives and angrily blames Mangal for sending the nurse away without giving the injection, accusing her of not wanting Adit to get cured so she can stay longer in the house. Mangal explains that forcing Adit is not right. Sowmya declares that as his wife, she will take the decisions. She calls the nurse back and insists on giving the injection.
Elsewhere, Pratima misses Kapil. Meanwhile, Adit feels scared seeing the nurse with the injection. Pratima calls Mangal and accuses her of not caring for Kapil. Mangal explains that she already spoke to the lawyer, but Adit interrupts and doesn’t let her continue the conversation. Mangal cuts the call and pretends that the injection doesn’t hurt. To prove he is strong, Adit finally agrees to take it. Sowmya looks on angrily. Mangal sends Adit inside and tells Sowmya that they need to treat Adit like a child and handle him patiently.

Precap: Adit goes to Mangal and says he failed to button his shirt properly, asking her to fix it. Mangal agrees, while Sowmya sees this from a distance and decides to teach Mangal a lesson. Later, Sowmya receives some papers from the postman and thinks she can use them to hit two birds with one stone. When Adit asks about the papers, she hides them from him. Adit then approaches Mangal, while Mangal looks at Sowmya and wonders what she is plotting this time.
