The episode begins with Sowmya noticing Mangal behind her through her phone camera. Panicking, Sowmya hides in the dark medical equipment room. Mangal searches for her and eventually enters the room. She suspects Sowmya of faking her pregnancy with the help of a doctor. Meanwhile, Sowmya is determined to escape before Mangal exposes her secret. In the darkness, Mangal catches Sowmya, but Sowmya pushes her away and locks the door, leaving Mangal unconscious inside. Sowmya then runs out and bumps into Adit. He asks why she’s in such a hurry and reminds her it’s time for her sonography. Sowmya lies, saying the procedure is already done, and takes him away.
At home, the family is worried because it’s already 7 PM, and Mangal hasn’t returned. Adit arrives, and Kusum asks about Mangal. Adit replies that Mangal didn’t come to the office or take leave. He makes a sarcastic comment and leaves. Sowmya, in her mind, thinks she doesn’t care what happens to Mangal as long as her secret remains safe.
Mangal regains consciousness and turns on the room’s light. She overhears security guards discussing turning on the cold storage in the medical equipment room, as the hospital will be closed for two days. They switch it on and leave. Mangal bangs on the door for help, but no one hears her. She notices the room temperature dropping to -15°C and realizes there’s no signal on her phone.
Meanwhile, Sowmya asks Adit to eat with her. Kusum expresses concern, saying they can’t eat while the kids are worried about their mother. Adit dismisses her worries, saying Mangal is not a child. However, Akshat insists he wants his mother back. Shanti and Lipika arrive at Mangal’s house, and everyone begins searching for her. They learn from an auto driver that he dropped Mangal at Bheem Hospital. Adit points out that it’s the same hospital where Sowmya went for her sonography. Shanti confronts Sowmya, accusing her of being involved. Sowmya denies knowing that Mangal was at the hospital. Kusum sends the children home with Sudesh while the rest leave for the hospital.
Inside the cold storage, Mangal shivers as her condition worsens. The family reaches the hospital but finds it closed. The security guard refuses to let them enter. Kusum tries to convince him, but he remains firm. Mangal’s situation becomes critical as the episode shifts focus.
Lakshmi wakes Raghuveer by splashing water on his face. She gives him lemonade to sober him up and urges him to hurry for Karthik’s bail hearing. At court, Jia requests permission from the judge to use the washroom. Gayatri follows her and pleads with Jia to accept a blank cheque and leave her son alone. However, Jia spots the media nearby and creates a scene, accusing Gayatri of attempting to bribe her. She declares she’ll show the cheque to the judge and runs back to the courtroom, ignoring Gayatri.
In the hearing, Jia’s lawyer presents the cheque to the judge, claiming Gayatri attempted to bribe Jia. The judge takes this as a serious offense and refuses to grant Karthik’s bail. She announces that she will give the final judgment in the next hearing as the evidence makes Karthik appear guilty. Everyone is shocked. Jia’s lawyer taunts that Karthik will rot in jail.
Outside the courtroom, Lakshmi reassures Karthik, promising to prove his innocence. However, Karthik feels defeated, believing his career is over. As the police take Karthik away, Gayatri begs Umesh to save him. Umesh blames Gayatri for jeopardizing Karthik’s case. In her frustration, Gayatri shifts the blame to Raghuveer. Raghuveer confronts her, holding her responsible for ruining Karthik’s life. He angrily moves to blacken her face, but Lakshmi stops him.
Raghuveer accuses Gayatri of ruining their chances of winning the case with her actions. He then reassures Lakshmi, saying that her trust and love for Karthik motivate him to fight the case. Raghuveer reveals that he had strong evidence to prove Karthik’s innocence, but Gayatri’s mistake ruined their opportunity. Lakshmi asks Raghuveer what they should do next. Raghuveer, frustrated, states that their chances of winning are slim because of Gayatri, and he leaves. Jia observes everything silently.
