The episode starts with Adit seeing Neel and wondering what he is doing there. He calls him badtameez. Adit shows Mangal the hospital record book from her delivery and reveals that their first baby was a boy, and Ishana is not their biological daughter. Mangal recalls Pushpa’s words that Neel is her son and collapses. Adit asks Mangal to accept the truth. Mangal shows Neel’s photo to Adit and cries, hugging him. Someone secretly clicks photos of Adit and Mangal. Adit asks Mangal to calm down and reminds her that it has been 16 years since the incident.
A nurse notices Adit holding a confidential file and questions how he obtained it. Adit scolds the hospital staff for their negligence. Mangal asks Adit not to tell anyone about it. Adit regrets that Mangal’s first delivery happened there. Mangal explains that her labor pains started suddenly, which is why the delivery took place in that hospital. She insists that Ishana is her daughter and can’t handle the truth. Adit advises her to speak to Ishana before she learns it from others and says he will leave. Mangal replies that she will talk to Ishana tomorrow.
Adit returns home. Sowmya shows him a newspaper photo of him with Mangal and confronts him. She accuses him of not caring for her and their child. Adit clarifies that he was only consoling Mangal after discovering that Ishana isn’t their daughter and that they actually had a son. Shocked, Sowmya drops a coffee mug. Kusum comes there and asks what happened. She advises Sowmya to take care of her health, saying stress can affect the baby. When Kusum asks if Adit said something, Sowmya covers up by saying it’s just mood swings. Kusum leaves to get juice.
Mangal later decides to tell Ishana the truth. Ishana asks what it is, and Mangal reveals that she isn’t her biological mother — someone swapped the babies 16 years ago without her knowledge. Ishana is shocked and refuses to believe it, thinking Mangal is joking. Mangal pleads with her to listen, but Ishana denies it. Suddenly, a cooker blasts. Mangal asks Ishana to move away but realizes Ishana isn’t actually there — she was imagining her. Mangal’s hand gets burned when she touches the hot cooker. Shanti and the kids rush in, worried. Shanti scolds Mangal for being careless and tells her to rest. Ishana offers to clean the kitchen, and Mangal silently vows to tell her the truth soon.
Later, Mangal asks Ishana to accompany her to the market, and Ishana agrees. Akshat insists on joining, but Mangal tells him to finish his homework first. Mangal prays for strength to reveal the truth. Ishana overhears her and asks what truth she’s talking about. Before Mangal can answer, they hear Shanti crying. Shanti tells them that Lipika met with an accident and begs for a ticket to Delhi. Mangal assures her that they will all go together. Ishana again asks about the truth, but Mangal postpones it and asks everyone to pack.
Mangal calls Neel, but the call doesn’t connect. She messages him to take care of his mother and himself, saying she is leaving for Delhi, will return soon. Neel reads the message and wonders why Mangal sounds emotional, as if she were his mother. Mangal and her family leave for the airport, while Sowmya’s taxi passes by in the opposite direction.
