The episode begins with Kusum pleading with Adit not to send her to a mental asylum, insisting that she wants to stay with him. Adit argues that it’s for her well-being. Kusum clings to him, refusing to leave, and desperately asks her husband, Sudesh, to intervene, insisting that she is not mentally ill. However, Sudesh sides with Adit, believing that their son is making the right decision for them.
Kusum then calls out for Mangal, urging Adit to contact her, confident that Mangal would never let this happen. Sowmya informs her that Mangal is not at home and argues that she can’t always be there to take care of her. She urges Adit to send Kusum away before Mangal arrives. Adit tries to convince Kusum to comply.
As the hospital staff attempts to take Kusum into the ambulance, Mangal arrives and stands in front of it, blocking their path. Seeing Mangal, Kusum feels relieved. Adit warns Mangal not to interfere, but Mangal asserts that Kusum is fine and does not need to be institutionalized. Sowmya challenges her, asking how she can be so sure. Mangal then takes Kusum out of the ambulance and sends her inside with Sudesh.
Adit confronts Mangal, asking why she is stopping the treatment. Mangal insists that Kusum is not mentally ill but has been drugged, which is why she appears drowsy. She questions how such drugs entered Kusum’s system. Sowmya accuses Mangal of lying, but Mangal asks Sowmya’s doctor to check Kusum’s reports. The doctor examines them and confirms that Kusum is not mentally unstable but is experiencing panic attacks due to a drug overdose. He assures Adit that hospitalization is unnecessary and that Kusum can be treated at home in a Delhi hospital. Mangal then asks Adit if he still wants to send Kusum away. Adit, now uncertain, agrees to keep her home but wonders who could have drugged her. Sowmya looks tense. The doctor and his team then leave.
Later, Mangal receives clothes from the laundry and notices her saree mixed with Sowmya’s clothes. This makes her suspicious. She checks the wardrobe and discovers that Sowmya has bought the exact same saree as hers. Realizing that Sowmya was the one who scared and attacked Kusum, Mangal devises a plan to expose her. That night, she tricks Sowmya, who unknowingly falls into her trap.
At midnight, Sowmya sneaks into Kusum’s room with the drugs. Just as she is about to administer them, Mangal switches on the light. Sowmya is stunned to see Mangal standing before her.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi pressures Jia to confess the truth if she wants to save her mother. Fearing for Prema’s safety, Jia breaks down and admits that she framed Karthik in the molestation case, insisting that he never did anything wrong. She claims that she was promised that Karthik would belong to her. After confessing, Jia rushes to find Prema, worried about her.
Lakshmi, deep in thought, wonders who made such a promise to Jia. Later, Raghuveer and Gayatri approach her, asking if Jia confessed. Lakshmi plays the recorded confession for them. She then informs them that Jia mentioned someone promised her Karthik. Gayatri urges Lakshmi to let it go, and she agrees. However, Lakshmi then asks Raghuveer what they did with Prema.
A flashback reveals that Raghuveer held a knife to Prema’s throat, forcing her to plead with Jia to save her, warning that she would be killed otherwise. Gayatri had recorded the entire scene.
Jia, unaware of the trick, sees a puppet instead of her real mother. However, she soon finds Prema tied up and rushes to untie her. Jia demands to know who was behind this, and Prema reveals that Gayatri is still alive. She explains that it was all part of Raghuveer and Lakshmi’s plan to extract a confession from Jia. Panic-stricken, Jia realizes she has already confessed and asks Prema what to do next. Prema advises her that they must stop Lakshmi from reaching court because if Jia is proven a liar, she could also face jail time.
Lakshmi places the evidence before God and prays for Karthik’s innocence to be proven so he can return home. Umesh thanks Raghuveer for his support, but Raghuveer warns him not to celebrate just yet—Karthik’s return is not guaranteed.
The next day, as the police prepare to take Karthik to court, he requests permission to pray to the Goddess before leaving. The police inspector agrees. Karthik prays for justice. Lakshmi arrives and reminds him that he always makes a Goddess statue with his hands on Basant Panchami. She requests the police to allow Karthik to make the idol, and they agree. Karthik and Lakshmi create a clay idol of Goddess Saraswati together. Lakshmi asks Karthik to keep it with him, and he agrees.
Meanwhile, Jia hires goons to ensure that no one from Karthik’s family reaches the court with the evidence. The goons accept the job.
As the Nigam family heads to court, the police stop their car for inspection. When the family steps out, the goons ambush them and search for the evidence. However, the family claims they don’t have it. Believing the evidence is hidden in the car, the goons steal it. Gayatri, witnessing the attack, grows worried that Jia may also target Lakshmi.
A goon calls Jia, informing her that the Nigam family didn’t have the evidence and that Lakshmi was not with them.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi is traveling to court in an auto-rickshaw, unaware that the driver is one of Jia’s goons. Realizing the driver is taking her in the wrong direction, she quickly escapes and hides in a haystack as the goon searches for her.
At the court, the Nigam family arrives. The judge asks if both parties are ready. Jia’s lawyer confirms his readiness, but Raghuveer is missing. The judge comments on his absence.
Gayatri calls Lakshmi, asking for her whereabouts. Lakshmi tells her she is hiding from Jia’s goons. Gayatri informs her that Raghuveer has also not reached the court yet. Lakshmi assures her that she will bring both Raghuveer and the evidence to court.
Just then, Lakshmi receives a video call from Prema through Raghuveer’s phone. Prema threatens Lakshmi, demanding she hand over the evidence—otherwise, she will kill Raghuveer. The screen reveals Raghuveer tied to a chair.
