The episode starts with Kapil stopping Adit. Kusum wants to go to Adit, but Chinta Bua stops her, saying that her grandson will teach Adit a lesson. Kapil makes Adit sit on a chair and says he will ask the driver to drop him home. Chinta Bua gets upset. Kapil then receives an important call, so he asks Lipika to handle Adit and leaves to attend the call. Lipika takes Adit aside. Bijli tells Chinta Bua that her plan flopped and nothing happened. Chinta Bua says that today she will make the Saxena family face humiliation.
Chinta Bua then says to Mangal that her ex-husband created a scene and she doesn’t want more drama, so Mangal should wear the necklace she gifted her for the family photos. Shanti thanks Chinta Bua for not creating an issue. However, when they open the box, the necklace is missing. Bijli says the necklace is not there. Chinta Bua asks how it disappeared. Bijli says she placed the necklace in the jewelry box and handed it to Mangal. Mangal agrees. They all start searching. Chinta Bua cries that her ancestral necklace has gone missing. Pratima tries to console her, but Chinta Bua refuses to calm down and asks if anyone came that way. Bijli says Kusum came twice.
Chinta Bua asks Kusum to show her bag. Kusum gets offended and asks why she would steal the necklace. Chinta insists and asks her to prove her innocence by showing the bag. Mangal takes a stand and tells Chinta Bua not to doubt Kusum. Chinta Bua says she won’t leave until she checks Kusum’s bag. Mangal refuses, saying Kusum didn’t even touch the necklace and she won’t allow it. Chinta Bua doesn’t listen and tries to check the bag. Just then, Adit comes and stops her, saying his mother is not a thief and asking her to listen to Mangal.
Mangal questions why Kusum would steal. Chinta Bua replies that Adit is jobless, their financial situation is bad, and since Mangal is also getting married and leaving them, Kusum might have been forced to commit this crime. She demands the necklace back. Mangal firmly says that having problems doesn’t mean they are thieves, and asks her to return the bag to Kusum. In tears, Kusum says to let Chinta Bua check her purse. Bijli smirks, recalling how she placed the necklace in Kusum’s bag on Chinta Bua’s orders.
Chinta Bua checks the bag and finds only a payal. She wonders where the necklace went. Mangal rebukes her for doubting Kusum. Chinta Bua is puzzled about how the necklace disappeared from Kusum’s purse. Kapil then arrives with the necklace in hand. He says he found it on the ground and asks why she created a scene by checking Kusum’s bag when they could have handled it calmly. Chinta Bua says their grandfather loved the necklace and she is relieved it was found.
Adit angrily reminds Chinta Bua not to forget how she insulted them earlier. Kapil apologizes to Kusum on behalf of Chinta Bua. Pratima also apologises to Kusum. Kusum says it’s not your fault and glad necklace is found. Adit says to Chinta Bua that glad you doubts cleared. He leaves from there with his family. Mangal tells Kapil that she had to leave with her family and leaves giving smile to Kapil. Chinta Bua thinks how her plan flopped.
