The episode starts with Mangal asking Kapil if he is fine. Kapil says, “I’m fine, and I know I got bail because of you.” Mangal sees Pratima. She tells Kapil, “I will come later to meet you,” and leaves after asking him to take care of himself. Kapil then asks Pratima if she knows why Mangal looks worried. Pratima says, “Mangal doesn’t have time for us,” and leaves, saying she will serve him food.
Adit lights crackers in the house after attaching them to Sowmya’s dress. Shocked, Sowmya runs and shouts, asking who added crackers to her dress. Kusum and others rush there. Adit tells them not to help Sowmya, saying she tried to oust his friend Mangal from the house. Mangal questions him about why he did such a thing, reminding him that the house could have caught fire too. She asks Sowmya not to move, pours water on her, and removes the crackers from her dress. Mangal again questions Adit. Adit says, “I just wanted to teach Sowmya a lesson because I don’t like her.” Sowmya tries to slap him, but Mangal stops her and says Adit doesn’t understand what he is doing, reminding her that he is like a child now. Sowmya angrily says his actions could have killed her today and calls him mad. Mangal asks her not to hurt Adit with such words. Sowmya leaves.
Later, Mangal consoles Adit, telling him he is not mad. Adit says, “You’re so good. I will marry you once I grow up.” Mangal recalls how Adit once hated her for marrying him and controls her tears.
Later, she finds a paper related to Sowmya’s notes and realizes Sowmya had sent a bribe to the police station in her name matching handwriting. She also understands Sowmya took Kusum’s signature to trap her. Mangal sees Kusum there and tells her that Sowmya had hidden the bail papers inside the Pehla Swad donation papers and framed her. Sowmya comes there and tells Mangal to stop accusing her. She says, “After whatever happened today, I want Kapil to be hanged. I don’t want him released.” Mangal confronts her with the bribe cover in her handwriting and recalls how Adit told her that Sowmya bribed him to stay silent about the papers. Sowmya denies it, saying Adit can’t be trusted and tells Mangal to stop dragging him into such matters. They argue, and Kusum intervenes, asking Mangal not to involve Adit in these issues, before leaving.
Meanwhile, Kapil’s lawyer informs him that the court hearing is in three days and that they have no proof to prove his innocence. He asks Kapil to arrange solid evidence. After he leaves, Kapil says, “My bail was done by Mangal. Maybe she has some evidence, so I will meet her.” Pratima, fearing her act will be exposed, stops him by saying she will call Mangal there.
Mangal later confronts Sowmya again. Sowmya asks her to leave her room, but Mangal says, “I know you want to ruin me and make my loved ones hate me. Today Amma believed you, but one day she will see your real face.” Sowmya replies, “No one supports you, and no one will know the truth. Accept defeat and leave.” Just then, Kusum arrives and slaps Sowmya. She questions her about why she tried to turn her against Mangal. Kusum says, “I regret trusting you and doubting Mangal. I’m glad I answered Pratima’s call to Mangal and learned that you helped her. You are the worst wife. Until now, I kept quiet for Adit’s sake, but if you cross your limits, I won’t spare you.” Kusum leaves.
Mangal tells Sowmya, “Didn’t I tell you? The truth always comes out.” She adds that she will never leave this family and will protect them from Sowmya like a shield.
