The episode starts with Mangal calling Lakshmi. Lakshmi runs behind the thief for her bracelet. She asks someone to help her. Pandit tells Mangal that everyone is waiting. Mangal asks Pandit to perform other puja. The thief tries to hit Lakshmi. Karthik comes to Lakshmi’s rescue. He slaps the thief and makes him get arrested. Karthik is surprised to see the girl is Lakshmi. He gives a bracelet to her. Lakshmi says it’s her mom’s bracelet. Karthik says now he understood why she risked so much for a bracelet. Lakshmi tries to put the bracelet but she can’t.
Pandit tells Mangal that a good time will end in 15 minutes. Mangal feels worried for Lakshmi. Karthik makes Lakshmi wear the bracelet. Lakshmi’s bracelet gets entangled with Karthik’s watch. Lakshmi sees the time. She tells Karthik that she is getting late. She tries to stop the auto but no one stops. Karthik comes there and offers to drop Lakshmi in the temple. Lakshmi agrees when he compels her to come.
Pandit asks Mangal to start puja in place of Lakshmi. Mangal starts the puja and gets tears. Lakshmi comes there and wipes Mangal’s tears. Mangal prays to god to give a good husband to Lakshmi. Karthik prays to god. Pandit tells Mangal that puja is completed. Mangal asks Lakshmi why she has come to puja lately. Lakshmi hides the thief incident. Lakshmi tells Mangal that she doesn’t want to participate in a lyricist competition. Mangal encourages her to participate in the competition. Lakshmi agrees.
Later, Mangal sees Adit talking on a call with a smile. She smiles. After the call, Mangal asks what’s the joke. Adit makes fun of her. Mangal tells Adit that Lakshmi is competing in a lyricist competition. Adit comments Lakshmi can get fame like Karthik and taunts that both are a great pair.
The next day, Karthik rushes out for work taking his mother’s blessings. Kusum tells Gayatri that Karthik is rushing like he is going to meet his girlfriend. Gayathri asks Kusum to do her work. She thinks she can’t lose her son.
Lakshmi comes to the lyricist competition. She asks volunteer where she can enroll to participate in the competition. The volunteer tells her newcomers can’t participate in it. Lakshmi asks her to tell her a way so she can participate. The volunteer says a reference of a reputed person is needed. Lakshmi feels disappointed. She turns. Due to the fan wind her dupatta flies and is stuck on Karthik hoarding. Karthik comes there. Everyone chants Karthik’s name. Lakshmi asks Volunteer to help her to get her dupatta. Volunteer denies. Karthik sees a girl is feeling awkward without a dupatta. He asks a crane person to take him up to get the dupatta. Crane starts taking him upside. People push Lakshmi. She leaves her lyrics paper and holds the edge of the crane Crane person takes Karthik up but they don’t see Lakshmi holding it. Lakshmi shouts for help. Karthik drags her up and sees it’s Lakshmi. She shows her dupatta. He takes dupatta and covers Lakshmi with it. Lakshmi feels scared due to height. Karthik asks her to not feel scared and tells her that he is with her.
