The episode starts with Kusum asking Mangal if she started suspecting her again and comments on her. Adit comments on Mangal as she is always suspecting others. Adit asks Mangal to do Lakshmi’s marriage on her own then everything will go well.
Adit asks Mangal if she made any preparations for Lakshmi’s wedding. Akshit comes forward and says Mangal has saved a lot of money. Akshit goes to bring Mangal’s piggy bank.
Sanjana asks Karthik where is he going. Karthik says he is going to meet Lakshmi and tell her that he loves Jia. Sanjana says if he goes to meet Lakshmi at her house then Lipika and Shanti will know about it and if they know about it then Gayatri will also know about it. Sanjana asks Karthik to make sure he talks to Lakshmi secretly. Karthik agrees.
Akshit brings the piggy bank and says Mangal saved this money for Lakshmi. Adit breaks the piggy bank. Adit and the kids count how much money is there is in the piggy bank. Adit says the total amount is rs 6400. Adit comment on the money. Mangal says she saved money for Mangal’s marriage in a bank. Mangal shows the pass book to Adit and says she has been saving for 15 years. Adit comments on Mangal as she only saved Rs 1.5 lakhs for the wedding. Adit mocks Mangal saying this money is not enough. Kusum reminds Adit that he also has responsibility towards Lakshmi and asks him to take up responsibility of Lakshmi’s wedding. Adit doesn’t agree to it and says Mangal has to solve Lakshmi’s wedding on her own and asks Kusum and Mangal not to expect anything from him. Mangal vows to do Lakshmi’s wedding very grandly in her heart.
Lipika while going to sleep with Lakshmi saying to Lakshmi to stop thinking about her marriage with Karthik as he will not marry her.
Karthik decides to write a letter to Lakshmi that he loves Jia and he doesn’t want to marry her. Karthik writes in a letter what does he want to say to Lakshmi that he doesn’t love her and he only loves Jia.
Lakshmi writes in a diary saying she feels like she is living in a dream as she is going to get married to Karthik. Lakshmi says she is very happy.
The next day, Adit looks for the money that he put in the cupboard. Adit doesn’t find it and he asks Mangal about it. Mangal says she doesn’t know about the money. Adit hearing it accuses Mangal of taking his money to do Lakshmi’s wedding.

Precap:- Sanjana says to Karthik that she wrote a few more things in the letter so that Lakshmi will definitely break off this wedding and says his wedding with Jia will happen.
Mangal says to Lakshmi about Karthik’s letter to her over video call.
