The episode begins with Neel throwing Ishana out of the house. Mangal and Adit rush to help her. Neel declares that Ishana must leave because he is the true heir of the house. Mangal angrily asks Neel to stop, but he refuses to listen. A shocked Ishana asks Mangal why Neel is talking this way and who he is to throw her out of her own house.
Neel then reveals a shocking truth—he says he is the real son of Adit and Mangal, and Ishana is not their daughter. He explains that they were swapped at the hospital sixteen years ago, and Ishana is actually the daughter of a woman from the basti. Neel tells her that she has lived a luxurious life that never belonged to her and asks her to return to the basti. Ishana is shattered and asks Mangal to say it’s all a lie.
Akshat warns Neel to stop hurting his sister. Mangal tells Ishana not to cry, assuring her that she is her daughter no matter what. Ishana tearfully asks Adit and Mangal to confirm that she is their biological daughter. Neel insists they should tell her the truth. Mangal emotionally says that no matter what the truth is, Ishana will always be their daughter and nothing can change that.
Ishana, heartbroken, says they are lying and that it means she belongs to someone else and is no one to them. She says their biological son has returned, and she no longer has a place in the house. She cries that she isn’t needed anymore and that Neel is right. Adit tries to comfort her, saying she will always be their daughter. Ishana questions if she is not their biological child. Mangal replies that she doesn’t know what the future holds, but the fact remains that Ishana is her and Adit’s daughter. Mangal then firmly tells Neel that Ishana is the daughter of this house and no one can throw her out. She asks Ishana to go to her room, and Adit and Mangal take her inside.
Akshat consoles Ishana, telling her not to cry as she will always be his sister. Mangal gives Ishana some water and tries to calm her down. Ishana asks Mangal why she told the truth to Neel but kept it from her, allowing him to insult her. Meanwhile, Adit warns Neel not to misbehave with Ishana again and demands to know who gave him the house address and revealed the truth. Sowmya thinks about confessing. Mangal tells Ishana that they never told Neel anything and don’t know how he found out. She says she tried many times to tell Ishana the truth, but the time never felt right. Neel arrogantly says it doesn’t matter who told him because no one can deny the truth. Adit scolds Neel and tells him to learn to respect elders if he wants to live in the house.
Later, Mangal hears Ishana calling her and rushes to the kids’ room. She sees Neel throwing things and misbehaving with Akshat and Ishana. Ishana complains that Neel entered their room and is refusing to leave. Neel shouts that the room belongs to him and orders them to get out. Mangal sternly asks him to stop misbehaving and apologize to Ishana. Neel mocks Mangal, breaks Ishana’s photo frame, and threatens that if Ishana and Akshat don’t leave, they will regret it. Adit and others arrive and ask what’s happening. Neel again orders Ishana to leave. Mangal, furious, orders Neel to get out of the room.
