The episode starts with Adit asking Mangal why she is not ready to go out for dinner. Mangal asks if she can come. Adit says you’re part of the family so you can come. Mangal feels elated and tells him that she will be ready in 2 minutes.
Nithin forces Lakshmi to cut the cake. Lakshmi tries to escape but he stops her. Mangal gets ready. She calls Lakshmi to tell her Adit is not angry and taking them out for dinner but the call doesn’t get connected. Lakshmi fights with Nithin and escapes from his apartment taking her phone.
Mangal calls Shanti for Lakshmi. Shanti tells Mangal that Lakshmi didn’t come home due to her wedding order. Adit calls Mangal. Mangal asks Shangi to call her when Lakshmi comes home. Shanti agrees.
Karthik drives the car in tension. He feels dizzy and stops the car. Lakshmi collides with Karthik. He sees Lakshmi and asks her what happened. Lakshmi hugs him. Later she breaks the hug.
Adit’s family enjoys the dinner date arranged by Adit. Mangal waits for Lakshmi’s call. Akshat purchases bangles to Mangal and gifts his mother. Mangal feels happy. Kusum asks why he didn’t give her any gift. Akshat comments no one gifts his mother so he gifted her. Mangal handles the situation. They leave for home.
Karthik asks Lakshmi what happened to her. Lakshmi lies some goons were behind her and she escaped from them. Lakshmi asks what happened to him. Karthik decides to not stress her and lies to her that his mood is off. He sets up the phone. Lakshmi thanks him. Karthik receives continuous messages from Jia and Gayatri. Lakshmi asks why he looks so stressed. He asks her what is love. He asks what he has to do if his choice of girl is against her mother. He asks if he has to go against his family. Lakshmi says if brought up is correct then the choice will be correct too according to Mangal. Karthik looks on.
Karthik comes home. Gayatri confronts why he went to meet Jia against his order. She asks if Jia is more than her. She demands him to tell her what is relationship between him and Jia. Karthik admits that he and Jia love each other. He tells her that he stopped talking to Jia for her but Jia tried to commit suicide and if anything happens to her then I can’t live too. Gayatri asks him to not talk in that way.
Mangal tells Adit that she is worried for Lakshmi’s safety so she wants to check her once. Adit says it’s not good to go at this time. He comments on Lakshmi. Lakshmi calls Mangal at that time. Adit asks Mangal to pick up the call. Mangal picks up Lakshmi’s call and asks why her phone was switched off till now. She asks if everything is fine. Lakshmi says her phone fell on and stopped working. Adit asks Mangal if everything is fine. Mangal says everything is fine. Adit goes inside. Lakshmi asks if everything is set. Mangal happily says Adit set everything. Lakshmi decides to tell Mangal about Nithin.
