The episode begins with Kapil (Mangal’s business partner) snapping her out of a dream. He tells Mangal to stop exhausting herself by helping others all the time. He reminds her they need to leave for a warehouse inspection. Mangal agrees, and they head out together.
On the way, Kapil shows her pictures of the warehouse. Suddenly, Mangal asks the driver to take a different route, saying she has something important to do. She stops by Chintu’s school to pick him up. Kapil, a bit irritated, calls Mangal “impossible” and tells Pandey (the driver) not to stop again until they reach the warehouse. However, Pandey starts feeling unwell and is forced to stop the car. Mangal checks on him and realizes he has a high fever. She advises him to go to the hospital and says Kapil will drive instead. Kapil scolds Pandey for not informing them earlier, then sends him off to get checked.
Kapil hesitates to open the car door but eventually uses sanitizer and starts driving. Mangal and Chintu smile. Mangal asks Chintu to focus on his work, and he begins painting. Mangal misses Akshat. When they reach the warehouse, Chintu is reunited with his mother, who thanks Mangal for her help. Kapil, again, uses sanitizer.
Later at the office, Kapil tells Mangal to treat employees professionally. Mangal replies that helping someone in need—especially when they come from the same background—is not wrong. She says helping employees personally can also benefit the company. Kapil says it’s best to keep personal and professional life separate. He ends up admiring her thoughts, saying, “Hats off to you.” Mangal asks if he’s mocking her, but Kapil insists her thinking always surprises him. She suggests giving employees a half-day off on Ram Navami, and he agrees. Just then, Kapil gets a call from his mother saying she’s unwell. Kapil and Mangal rush home.
At home, Mangal checks and realizes that Kapil’s mother doesn’t have a fever. Kapil confronts her for lying. She says she lied for something important—she just wanted their company. She asks them to sit with her during the Ram Navami pooja. Kapil teases her, and Mangal calls her “Amma.” Kapil’s mother is touched and tells her to always call her Amma. Mangal volunteers to do the pooja arrangements and leaves. Kapil’s mother reflects that Mangal hasn’t fully accepted them yet. Kapil asks what she’s thinking, and she tells him that Mangal would make an ideal life partner for him. Kapil brushes it off, saying they are just business partners and happy that way. She leaves to check on Mangal.
Mangal decorates the mandir with the workers’ help. Kapil’s mother observes her quietly. Mangal then decides to prepare prashad and misses her own Amma.
Meanwhile, Kusum worries that the mandir in their house hasn’t been decorated for the pooja, which Sudesh wouldn’t like. Sowmya is about to leave for work, but Kusum stops her and asks her to do the pooja. Sowmya refuses, saying she has office work, and sends Kusum inside. In her thoughts, Sowmya says the house runs because of her, and one day, she will rule it.
On the other hand, Adit is on a call, asking his boss to postpone the meeting by half an hour so he can perfect his presentation. He thinks he must succeed to avoid Sowmya’s taunts. Kusum comes to talk to him about the Ram Navami pooja, but seeing him busy, leaves without saying anything. She reflects on how much their lives have changed in six months.
Suddenly, the phone rings. Kusum answers it, but no one speaks. She gets frustrated, asking why someone keeps calling without speaking. Sowmya snatches the phone and warns the caller that she’ll report them to the police if they call again.
Back at Kapil’s place, a worker tells Mangal he has brought ingredients for the prashad. Meanwhile, at Sowmya’s house, she hears Mangal’s name on the phone—and is left shocked.
