The episode begins with Mangal telling Adit that she can’t betray Kusum by hiding the truth from her. Adit warns her not to reveal anything and leaves. Kusum witnesses their conversation and confronts Mangal, asking what she is hiding. Mangal tells Kusum to ask Adit instead. Kusum, however, makes Mangal swear on her to reveal the truth. Hesitant, Mangal tells Kusum that she won’t be able to handle it.
Meanwhile, Akshat takes Maggie (the dish). Sowmya smells it and feels nauseous. Mangal and Kusum notice Sowmya’s condition. Kusum connects the dots and realizes that Sowmya is pregnant. Shocked, Kusum confronts Mangal, who asks her to calm down, but Kusum storms off.
Later, Sowmya complains to Adit about her morning sickness, and Adit tries to comfort her, saying it is common and advises her to drink water. Suddenly, Kusum arrives, throws water at Adit, slaps him, and furiously questions his morality. She demands to know how low he can stoop and accuses him of hiding Sowmya’s pregnancy. She breaks down, saying she can’t even look at herself in the mirror because of his actions.
Mangal tries to console Kusum, but Adit lashes out at her, accusing her of revealing the truth. Mangal defends herself, rebuking Adit for his behavior. Kusum also defends Mangal and chastises Adit for his actions, reminding him that Mangal is his wife, and he never thought about how his actions would affect her. She accuses him of crossing all limits and says he’ll never understand the damage he has done to Mangal.
Kusum, furious, declares that she doesn’t want Sowmya in her house anymore and tells Adit that whoever wants a relationship with Sowmya can leave with her. Kusum attempts to throw Sowmya out, but Adit stops her, asserting that it is his house and Sowmya will stay. He pleads with Kusum to understand the situation, but she snaps back, declaring that her son is dead to her and there’s no longer any relationship between them. Heartbroken, Kusum leaves.
Adit turns to Mangal and sarcastically asks if she is happy now that she has caused a rift between him and his mother. Mangal sternly tells him that it’s his actions that caused this and leaves to comfort Kusum. Meanwhile, Sowmya acts pitiful in front of Adit, who assures her that he will handle everything.
Elsewhere, Karthik congratulates Jia at her party. Jia hugs Karthik and thanks him. Karthik informs her that he has to leave early as he has a flight the next morning, but Karthik’s friends persuade him to stay and spend more time with them since it’s been a long time since they met. Jia notices a message from Gayatri on her phone.
Jia later suggests a game to the guests where the boys are blindfolded and dance with the ladies. Their partners will keep changing until the music stops, and when it does, the boys must guess who their dance partner is. Everyone agrees and begins playing.
Meanwhile, Kusum reflects on Adit’s behavior. Feeling suffocated in her own home, she leaves and goes to a park. Mangal finds her there and calls Ishana to inform her about Kusum’s whereabouts. After hanging up, Mangal asks Kusum why she left the house without telling anyone. Kusum expresses her pain, saying that her own son’s actions have made her feel humiliated and defeated as a mother. She laments that while Mangal has fulfilled all her duties as a wife, she failed to see Adit’s affair with Sowmya and feels betrayed.
Mangal comforts Kusum, telling her not to think like that and assures her that she is her strength. She helps Kusum calm down and takes her back home. Later, Mangal puts Kusum to sleep and reflects on everything that has happened. She decides it’s time for her to leave the house. Mangal calls Isha and asks if she knows any brokers who can help her find a rental house. Isha assures her that she has contacts and will send the information.
