The episode starts with Kusum telling Mangal that their food got wet and is now wasted. Mangal cries and asks what they can do. Kusum says nothing can be done and asks her to change her clothes. Meanwhile, Adit removes his shirt and ties it to the pump to stop the water flow. Kusum approaches Adit and says their efforts were wasted. Adit blames himself and resolves to fix the situation.
Elsewhere, Sowmya is on a call, asking someone to fast-track Adit and Mangal’s divorce, saying she’s willing to pay extra. She quickly hangs up when she sees Adit entering the room and drops her phone. Adit asks Sowmya to lend him 30k, promising to return it once he gets a job. Sowmya sends him the money.
Later, Mangal calls the assistant director and says her food isn’t ready yet. He informs her that it will be a dual round — half the food must be brought from home, and the rest will be prepared in front of the judges. Mangal ends the call and tells Kusum they won’t be able to dry the food by the time they reach the shoot. To their surprise, Adit gifts Mangal a dehydrator, and they thank him. Sowmya sees this and tries to confront Adit for spending her money on Mangal, but a phone call interrupts her.
The next day, Mangal manages to dry the food on time, and they leave for the program with everything packed. At the venue, Niketan’s mother mocks Mangal and Kusum, but Kusum sharply rebukes her. Sanjana announces that a special judge is coming, and it turns out to be Sowmya Tandon. Sowmya thinks to herself that their head, Sneha, couldn’t come due to health issues, so she came in her place. Niketan tries to shake hands with Sowmya, but she refuses, saying she doesn’t shake hands with betrayers. When she extends her hand to greet Mangal, Mangal greets her with folded hands instead.
Adit wonders why Sowmya didn’t mention she was attending the program. Shanti approaches Adit and says she’s sure Sowmya went there to eliminate Mangal. Meanwhile, Sowmya announces that only one member from each team can participate in this round, and they must prepare their dish in front of the judges. She adds that two contestants will be eliminated, and five will advance to the next stage. Mangal tells Kusum she will cook the dish and asks Kusum to leave. Kusum worries about how Mangal will manage, but Mangal assures her that she can prepare everything with the help of the dehydrator. Kusum agrees and leaves.
In another storyline, Jia tells Karthik she’s ready for marriage. However, Karthik delays the wedding, saying he wants to regain his memory and asks for six months’ time. Jia is shocked but agrees, saying she will wait for him like Parvati waited for Shiv. Karthik thanks her, but Jia secretly vows to teach Lakshmi a lesson.
Jia later shows Karthik a newspaper article accusing Raghuveer of being responsible for his wife’s death. She questions why Lakshmi lied to him. Karthik and Gayatri arrive, and Karthik confronts Lakshmi, asking if she is Raghuveer’s second wife. He demands answers and calls for Raghuveer. Raghuveer, appearing intoxicated, comes downstairs — revealing that Jia had spiked his water. Karthik shows Raghuveer the newspaper and accuses him of murder. Raghuveer snaps and tells Karthik to stop. He shockingly reveals that Lakshmi is not his wife and that they were never married.
Raghuveer tells Gayatri that he can’t continue the act any longer. Karthik, stunned, asks who Lakshmi’s husband is if not Raghuveer. Raghuveer tells him to find out from Lakshmi herself and leaves. Karthik turns to Lakshmi, demanding to know why she lied and who her real husband is. Lakshmi, in tears, silently leaves. Karthik then asks Gayatri for the truth, but everyone remains silent. Frustrated, Karthik says he knows what he needs to do learn the truth and storms out. Jia smirks, confident that Lakshmi can’t defeat her.
