The episode starts with Kusum asking Shanti why she brought her here. Shanti reveals to Kusum that Adit is having an affair with Sowmya and comments on it.
Sowmya sees Mangal celebrating with her family and says she really loves seeing families celebrate festivals together. Sowmya gets a call and leaves.
Mangal receives a call from the Pandit. She says she will come to the temple and decides to ask Kusum for her permission.
Kusum asks Shanti how she can accuse her son Adit like that. Shanti tells Kusum that she is telling the truth. Kusum asks Shanti if she has any proof to support her accusation against Adit. Shanti wonders how she can explain that Lipika is blackmailing Adit and Sowmya after learning the truth. Kusum sees Shanti’s silence and comments on it. Mangal approaches Kusum and Shanti, asking if Shanti told Kusum anything. Kusum says no. Mangal then informs Kusum that she is leaving for the temple. Hearing this, Shanti says she will accompany her. Mangal agrees.
Karthik sees Lakshmi celebrating Teej with Gayatri and Sanjana. Karthik tells Gayatri that they are celebrating today as if it’s a wedding. Gayatri replies that the Teej festival is better than a wedding and comments on it.
Shanti tries to tell Mangal the truth about Adit and Sowmya, but Lakshmi arrives at the temple. Mangal greets Lakshmi and chats with her, noticing that Lakshmi’s Mehendi is very red. Mangal remarks that it looks like Karthik is taking great care of her. Lakshmi says she is blessed to have a husband like Karthik, and Sowmya comments on it. Mangal and Lakshmi enter the temple to pray.
Sowmya burns her clothes and wears Mangal’s saree, the one Mangal had planned to wear for the Pooja.
Lakshmi gets a call and leaves Mangal to answer it. Shanti then tells Mangal that she is not a good mother and comments on it. Shanti says she always wanted to see Mangal happy with her family. Mangal asks Shanti what happened.
Sowmya sends Adit a photo of herself wearing Mangal’s saree. Adit messages Sowmya, asking why she wore Mangal’s dress. Sowmya doesn’t respond.
Sudesh comes to Kusum and shows her a drawing made by Akshat of Sudesh and Kusum, but notices that Kusum is distracted. He asks Kusum what’s wrong. Kusum lashes out at Sudesh, and he leaves.
Kusum sees Shanti entering the house and asks if she told Mangal anything. Both Shanti and Kusum see that Sowmya is wearing Mangal’s saree. Shanti asks Sowmya why she is wearing Mangal’s saree. Sowmya explains that Mangal burned her clothes while ironing, so she wore the saree she found, asking what’s wrong with it.
Mangal arrives and questions Sowmya about her relationship with Adit, why she wore her saree, and why she took leave from the office, as married women celebrate Teej. Adit asks Mangal how she can question Sowmya like that. Mangal says she has learned something and asks Sowmya what Adit means to her.
