The episode starts with Sowmya warning the anonymous caller not to trouble her family by calling the landline daily. A worker tells Mangal that the pooja samagri is ready. Sowmya hears Mangal’s name and disconnects the landline. Adit enters the hall and asks what she’s doing. Sowmya says they don’t need the landline anymore.
Mangal recalls how she called Kusum and Ishana to tell them the truth, but they refused to talk to her. She thinks she’ll soon buy a house and bring them home. Until then, she says, “I’ll be content just hearing your voice.”
Adit asks Sowmya why she wants to discard the landline. Sowmya says she wants to reduce some bills and asks him not to misunderstand her. She reminds him that they’ve been married for six months and says she’s glad her income is stable—unlike his. She adds, “I don’t know why people stopped trusting you after your accident. I cleared the house loan, which is now in my name. I’m doing everything for the family as your wife, and I want to cut unnecessary expenses.”
Adit agrees and says he’s trying to find an investor for his project. He promises that once he does, he’ll also share the expenses. Sowmya agrees, and Adit leaves for his presentation.
Mangal tells Kapil’s mother that she’ll take her to the doctor tomorrow since her knees are hurting. Kapil looks on. Mangal asks if he had taken the appointment. Kapil’s mother scolds him. Mangal says she’ll handle the appointment and take her to the hospital. She leaves.
Kapil’s mother tells him that Mangal is the best match for him. Kapil asks her to remove this thought from her mind, warning that if Mangal hears it, it’ll be awkward for him to work with her—and she’ll never enter their house. Pratima looks on.
Mangal books an appointment for Pratima at a natural health center. The nurse puts her on hold and answers another call—it’s Adit. Adit requests the nurse for an appointment for his mother the next day. The nurse says all slots are full. Adit pleads, saying they are coming from another city.
Mangal overhears the nurse rejecting the request and asks her to give their slot to the person coming from another city. The nurse agrees and gives the slot to Adit. Neither Adit nor Mangal knows they’ve helped each other. Adit asks the nurse to thank the person who gave up the slot, and she conveys his thanks to Mangal.
Mangal returns home and misses her family. She calls GP International School to ask if Akshat is studying there. They refuse to give her the information. Mangal says, “I’m his mother—please just answer yes or no.” The employee tells her that Akshat is not studying at their school. Mangal wonders where he is, as every school she’s contacted gave the same answer. She thinks she has arranged the money to win legal custody and that her family will soon be with her.
An employee tells Kapil that tomorrow’s event will be a success. Mangal comes in and asks him to check the sample. He asks her to check the Investors Bazaar in Jaipur.
Meanwhile, Sowmya sees Adit making coffee. She approaches and says, “You didn’t tell me—otherwise, I would’ve asked you to make one for me too.” Adit tells her he plans to go to Jaipur to attend the Investors Bazaar.
Kapil asks Mangal to manage the event their company is organizing. She tells him to attend it himself. Kapil says, “You know about my OCD issues, and tomorrow I’m going to the doctor—I feel Pandey passed on his infection to me.”
Adit tells Sowmya he will impress Kapil and secure the funding, and also take Kusum to see a doctor in Jaipur for her back pain. Kapil asks Mangal to manage things until he returns. Mangal says she can’t. Kapil insists, “You can do it. Please represent Pehla Swaad and my business too.” Mangal looks on.
Kusum asks Adit why he wants to take her with him. Adit replies, “It’s good for both of us.”
The episode starts with Karthik unable to sleep. Radha/Lakshmi tries to take him to the terrace, but the plan fails. Lakshmi prays to God for the success of her plan.
Karthik receives a call but can’t hear anything clearly, so he goes to the terrace to speak with the manager. After the call, he is about to check the photos, but he gets a call from Jia and leaves in a hurry. Lakshmi feels her efforts have gone to waste.
One of the photos falls on Karthik’s car. Karthik reaches the spot where Jia had her car accident and carries her in his arms to take her to the hospital. Jia sees Karthik and recalls how she had planned her accident to make him come to her.
Meanwhile, Gayatri calls out for Radha when she notices dinner hasn’t been prepared. Umesh asks what happened. Gayatri complains that Radha didn’t cook. Radha comes in and apologizes, promising to prepare dinner in 30 minutes. She rushes to the kitchen. Gayatri tells Umesh that she won’t have peace until Radha is also thrown out of the house. Umesh tries to calm her.
Just then, the doorbell rings. Radha opens the door and is shocked to see Karthik with Jia. In disbelief, she says “Jia?” Karthik brings Jia inside. Gayatri questions why he brought Jia home. Karthik explains that Prema is out of town and Jia had an accident, so he brought her here. Jia says she can manage alone at home and asks Karthik to let her leave, but Karthik insists that she stay at his house.
Later, Jia rests in her room, thinking she has succeeded in re-entering Karthik’s life. Karthik, unable to sleep, recalls Radha’s words that those who can’t sleep usually go to the terrace. He goes up to the terrace and a photo falls on him. It is his and Lakshmi’s wedding photo. He checks the carton and remembers that he was indeed married to Lakshmi. He finds a pen drive in the carton.
Lakshmi prays to Maata Rani for help.
Karthik connects the pen drive to his phone and sees the judgment that proves his innocence. He watches how Lakshmi saved him in the molestation case filed by Jia. He regrets not trusting Lakshmi. He wonders how all this happened and why he believed Jia. He recalls being attacked on the way home and someone injecting him, which caused him to forget his memories with Lakshmi. He realizes it was all part of Jia’s trap.
Karthik regrets not trusting his family when they warned him about Jia. He remembers how he had ousted Lakshmi from the house and feels he has done great injustice to her. He decides to bring Lakshmi back into his life. He calls her, but her phone is switched off. He then resolves to find her and bring her home. He vows to earn Lakshmi’s forgiveness and reunite with her soon.
