The episode starts with Gayatri, Sanjana and Karthik sister show Lakshmi her room. Karthik’s sister commments on Lakshmi. Gayatri sends Sanjana and Karthik’s sister away. Gayatri asks Lakshmi to stay here and says she will send Karthik to this room right away.
Akshat comes to Mangal and complaints to Mangal about Ishana not doing her solar system project and she has to submit tomorrow. Ishana says she will take Adit’s help to do this project. Kusum says no and asks Mangal to help Ishana in her project and says it is not good to trouble Adit for such small things. Mangal agrees.
Mangal helps Ishana in her solar system project. Mangal takes earphones from Ishana and calls Lakshmi and talks to her. Mangal says to Lakshmi how happy she is that Lakshmi got married to Karthik. Lakhsmi cuts the call saying Karthik is coming here.
Karthik comes into the room, closes the door and lashes out in his room. Lakshmi asks Karthik to cool down and listen to her. Karthik says he will not talk to her till lifelong. Karthik tries to leave the room. Lakshmi says to Karthik that she tried to tell the truth to Mangal but she wasn’t able to tell the truth as she saw the spark in Mangal’s eyes. Lakshmi says to Karthik how much Mangal has suffered for her and says if Mangal knows the truth then she would have been completely broken. Lakshmi says to Karthik that it might be easy for men to break off a wedding but it is never easy for women and comments on it. Karthik comforts Lakshmi and says to Lakshmi that he understands her circumstances.
Gayatri comes to Jia. Jia shows the decoration and says to Gayatri that this decoration is exactly like how Karthik and Jia wanted their first night to be. Jia later asks Gayatri is she will do their marriage. Gayatri asks Jia to trust her and says she will do their wedding. Jia is shown to have video recorded their conversation and says to herself that she can’t lose Karthik.
Karthik apologises to Lakshmi as he never understood her situation. Lakshmi says it is not his fault and says their situation is like that. Lakshmi asks Karthik what are they going to do next. Karthik says they have to live with what they have done. Karthik reminds they were best friends before this wedding and says they will live the rest of their lives with smile.
