The episode starts with Mangal taking Lakshmi aside from Rohan. She advises Lakshmi to not agree to the alliance in pressure. Mangal asks Lakshmi to talk to Rohan and learn if he is suitable for you or not. Lakshmi agrees. Adit opens the door hearing the calling bell sound. Adit opens the door and sees Gayatri and Karthik. Gayatri asks Adit if they came at the wrong time. Gayatri remembers Rohan and Lakshmi’s wedding looks. She says they will come another time. Mangal welcomes them inside. Gayatri says to Karthik that it’s not the correct time to share his love matter to Kusum. Karthik goes to meet Akshat.
Rohan tries to hold Lakshmi’s hand. Lakshmi takes back her hand and confronts him. Rohan says he did it by mistake. Lakshmi forgives him. Karthik comes there searching for Akshat. He comes to Lakshmi and asks her to share with Rohan about her first love. Rohan and Lakshmi feel pressured. Lakshmi asks what he is saying. Karthik reveals Mangal is Lakshmi’s first love. They feel relaxed. Karthik tells Rohan that he is lucky to get a girl like Lakshmi.
Maya says to Mangal’s family that she likes their locality so she wants to shift to their area. Adit thinks it’s risky if Lakshmi stays near his house and says to Maya that their area is not good and suggests her to not shift to their area. Maya agrees. Rohan and Lakshmi come to the hall. Maya asks Lakshmi about her decision. Shanti says it’s yes. Mangal asks Lakshmi to tell her opinion. Lakshmi asks Mangal if she liked the alliance. Mangal says family is good and at the end of the day your decision is final. Lakshmi agrees to marry Rohan. Everyone feels happy. Mangal distributes sweets to everyone. Maya says they can do engagement tomorrow. Adit asks Mangal to agree. Mangal agrees to the proposal.
Karthik receives an important call and leaves from Adit’s house informing Gayatri. Later Gayatri complains to Kusum about Jia’s suicide attempt which coerces her to agree to Jia and Karthik’s love. Kusum says Jia is not the correct person for Karthik so they need to search for a way to get rid of her after Lakshmi’s parikrama. Gayatri agrees.
Shanti asks decorators to decorate the house beautifully. She asks Mangal why she is spending so much for Lakshmi’s wedding. Mangal rebukes her. Shanti’s husband comes there and says his dress is damaged. Akshat comes there and says he is injured. Shanti says these are inauspicious signs. Lights go off. Mangal asks decorators to take a break. She turns and collides with Shanti. Puja thali falls from Shanti’s hands. Shanti says it’s inauspicious.
