The episode starts with Sudesh getting scared upon seeing Mangal. She asks him why he looks tense seeing her. Sudesh throws a spoon at her, but Mangal bends and escapes the hit. She approaches him and says, “I’m your daughter,” but Sudesh pushes her away. Akshat asks Mangal if she is fine. Meanwhile, Sowmya, witnessing this, wonders why Sudesh is reacting angrily to Mangal. She recalls that she was wearing a pink dress the day of the incident and suspects the color is triggering his trauma and memory.
Adit helps Mangal stand and checks if she’s okay. Sudesh suddenly falls unconscious. Kusum and Adit take him to the room and help him onto the bed. Sowmya tells Adit that Mangal is triggering Sudesh’s condition and insists it’s better if she stays away from him.
Mangal tells Ishana that Sudesh at least reacted, which she sees as a good sign. But Ishana warns her to stop her attempts and leave them alone. Later, Sowmya manipulates Adit and Kusum, saying that Sudesh is in this condition because of Mangal and suggests that perhaps Sudesh was trying to tell them that Mangal harmed him earlier. Mangal, meanwhile, wonders how to solve the mystery behind Sudesh’s trauma.
Akshat asks Mangal whether Dadu will get better. She assures him that with their love, Sudesh will recover. Akshat promises to shower Dadu with love.
That night, Sudesh murmurs in his sleep about “that woman and pink clothes.” Sowmya overhears and realizes it was the color, not Mangal, that frightened him. To stop him from remembering the truth, she decides to suffocate him with a pillow. Just then, Mangal enters and stops her, questioning why she’s holding the pillow. Kusum wakes up and turns on the lights. Mangal demands an answer, but Sowmya lies, saying she was just trying to help.
Later, Sowmya imagines Mangal confronting her and saying Adit and Kusum will find out everything and send her to jail. Angry, Sowmya throws a vase. Adit hears the sound and comes in. Sowmya blames stress.
Kapil asks Mangal what’s bothering her. Mangal shares her doubts about Sudesh’s fearful reaction and wonders if she can get answers from Akshat. Mangal and Kapil talk to Akshat, who hesitates at first but eventually reveals that Sudesh was happy upon receiving a message from Mangal that day. They were on their way to meet her when they were attacked. Akshat breaks down, and Mangal consoles him.
Kapil and Mangal decide to recreate the incident day to help to make Sudesh get back his list memory. Sowmya grows fearful overhearing this. With Kusum away from home, Mangal enters the room intending to take Sudesh back to the scene of the incident.
