The episode starts with Kusum saying to Mangal that she can give these jewellery back to Lakshmi and says the jewellery that they prepared for her is enough. Kusum says this jewellery belongs to Lakshmi so she should give this jewellery to Lakshmi. Mangal thanks Kusum. Kusum asks Mangal if she thought of what they should make for Lakshmi’s jewellery. Mangal gives the list to Kusum. Kusum says she and Adit will go to goldsmith to buy jewellery.
Gayatri sees the letter that Karthik has written for Lakshmi. Gayatri apologises to Karthik in her heart as she swapped the letter that Karthik has written for Lakshmi. Gayatri thinks if Jia comes into the house as this house daughter in law then Jia will seperate Gayatri and Karthik and she can’t allow that to happen. Gayatri tears the letter, throws it in the dust bin and burns it. Gayatri thinks of what is written in the letter that she wrote for Lakshmi to make Lakshmi think Karthik loves her.
Kusum and Adit come to the Goldsmith. Goldsmith says to Adit and Kusum that all of this gold is fake. Kusum argues with the Goldsmith saying that this gold was brought by Mangal when she got married so how could it be fake. The Goldsmith says it is their problem and comments on Kusum as she tried to sell him fake jewellery. Adit warns the Goldsmith to mind his tone. Goldsmith comments on them and sends them away. Adit and Kusum go to 3 shops and confirm that the jewelry is fake. Kusum asks Adit how could Shanti give Mangal fake jewellery. Adit says he will find out about it. Kusum feels humiliated with what happened. Adit calls Mangal and asks her to come right away to Shanti’s home.
Shanti sees Lipika wearing Lakshmi’s jewellery. Lipika asks Shanti why did she lie to Mangal that she gave Lakshmi’s jewellery to Mangal but the truth is that the jewellery are with them. Shanti says she hid this so that she can break Lakshmi’s jewelry and make new jewellery for Lipika’s wedding.
Kusum and Adit come to Shanti’s house and calls for Shanti. Shanti hearing Kusum’s
Voice she hides the jewellery goes to meet Adit and Kusum. Mangal also comes to Shanti’s house.
Gayatri after talking to the Pandit fixes the date for Karthik’s wedding 2 days later.
Adit comments on Mangal and her family as fraud. Mangal says she doesn’t understand what is going on. Adit asks Mangal why did she do the Gruh Pravesh ritual with fake jewellery. Mangal’s father says to Adi that this is a big accusation and says they haven’t given any fake jewellery to them. Adit comments on Mangal and her family. Adit reveals to them that when they went to Goldsmith he confirmed that all of this gold is fake and there is gold coating on the jewelry. Adit says to Mangal and her family how they were insulted at the Gold shops. Adit asks Kusum to atleast save Karthik and not do wedding with this family. Adit says he doesn’t want to have any relationship with Mangal or her family.
