The episode starts with Adit looking at himself in the mirror, recalling Sharma’s words. He feels suffocated and tries to open the windows but fails.
Sowmya returns from shopping and approaches Adit. She tells him that she has done a lot of shopping to celebrate his promotion. She excitedly shows him a dress, suggesting that he wear it to the party. However, Adit throws the shirt away and accuses Sowmya of making a fool of him. Confused, Sowmya asks why he is behaving this way and comments on his attitude.
Kusum and Mangal enter Adit’s room. Kusum asks Sowmya to stop aggravating Adit’s pain. Sowmya, taken aback, asks Kusum what she did wrong and demands to know why Adit is acting like this. Adit then reveals to Sowmya that he left his job. Hearing this, Sowmya criticizes him for quitting just because he didn’t get a promotion. Mangal intervenes, asking Sowmya to try and understand that Adit has been through a difficult time. Adit reacts sarcastically to this.
Later, Adit is resting in his room when Akshat comes in and asks if he can play a video game there. Adit agrees. Noticing this, Mangal signals Akshat to engage Adit in the game to cheer him up. Akshat agrees and requests Adit’s help to clear a difficult level. Adit joins in, and together they achieve the highest score.
Meanwhile, the police arrive at Adit’s house to discuss the accident. They inform him that they took the driver’s statement, and according to him, the car’s brakes were working fine before he stopped in front of Adit’s house. However, after leaving, his brakes failed. The inspector asks Adit if he has any enemies. In response, Mangal takes Sowmya’s name.
Elsewhere, Sanjana pulls Gayatri aside and urges her to tell Lakshmi the truth about Karthik’s condition. Gayatri refuses, stating that Lakshmi must not come in front of Karthik because he has lost his memory. If he is forced to recall it, his condition may worsen. Sanjana asks Gayatri how long she plans to keep Lakshmi away from Karthik.
Gayatri then approaches Lakshmi and speaks to her sweetly. Secretly, she spikes Lakshmi’s juice with a sleeping pill and ensures she drinks it.
Later, as Lakshmi is passing by Karthik’s room, she notices that he is feeling cold. Concerned, she enters and covers him with a blanket. In his sleep, Karthik instinctively holds Lakshmi’s hand. Without realizing it, Lakshmi falls asleep beside him.
Gayatri soon spots Lakshmi in Karthik’s room. Shocked, she and Sanjana quickly move Lakshmi to another room. Sanjana questions Gayatri, reminding her that she had given Lakshmi a sleeping pill. Gayatri speculates that the pill might have taken effect a little late.
At that moment, Umesh approaches Gayatri and pleads with her to tell Lakshmi the truth. However, Gayatri insists that she will handle things in her own way.
Meanwhile, Karthik wakes up and tries to call and message Jia, but she doesn’t respond. Frustrated, he decides to play his guitar but remembers it is in his room. When he enters, he is surprised to find Lakshmi sleeping there.
