The episode starts with Adit trying to call Kusum but he is not able to remember the phone number. Adit decides to see phone no in his phone. Adit gets a call from Tejpal. Tejpal asks Adit to deliver the money to Pappu right away. Adit agrees. Adit takes the money from his cupboard and he doesn’t notice Mangal’s note that has fallen on the floor. Adit with the money leaves from there.
Adit sees Pappu is doing Pooja but he just disturbs him and asks him if he is Pappu. Pappu’s henchman asks Adit if he can’t see that Pappu is doing Pooja. Adit says he came here to see to give money. Pappu’s henchmen asks Adit if he knows what kind of influence Pappu has and comments on it. Adit gives the money to Pappu. Pappu takes the money and asks him to leave. Adit leaves from there. Pappu’s henchmen comment on Adit’s rude behaviour. Pappu says his time will also come when they will teach him a lesson.
Gayatri brings Karthik and Lakshmi to the temple. Gayatri sees Pandit Ji and she goes to him to know about her future.
Karthik and Lakshmi go to the Goddess. Lakshmi prays for all of her family members well being. Karthik asks Lakshmi why didn’t she pray for herself as she prayed for everyone. Lakshmi comments on it.
The Pandit says to Gayatri that Karthik will take really take good care of his wife and says her daughter in law will take care of her. Gayatri asks The pandit if her son will not take care of her. The Pandit says to Gayatri that her daughter in law will take care of her and says Karthik will protect his wife like a shield. Gayatri gets upset hearing it and leaves from there.
Lakshmi tries to tie the sacred thread to the tree. Karthik helps Lakshmi in it. Gayatri witnesses it from afar and gets upset.
Mangal and Kusum return home with Sudesh. Kusum makes Mangal call Adit’s office to talk to him but she learns from the office receptionist that Adit applied for a leave today and Adit left the office yesterday pretty early. Kusum gets upset hearing it.
Adit comes home as he left his phone in the house. Kusum asks Adit where was he yesterday. Adit says he was busy with work. Kusum asks Adit if he was so busy that he hasn’t even attended one phone call of Mangal. Adit blames Mangal for Kusum scolding him. Kusum says to Adit that he doesn’t know what they have gone through and comments on it. Kusum asks Adit to speak the truth where was he yesterday and with whom as they know from his office that he wasn’t in the office. Adit says his friend tried to commit suicide and he went there to stop him. Kusum asks Adit to call him and make her talk to him.
