The episode starts with Mangal saying her hope has disappeared along with the sun. She cries, fearing she will be out of the competition. The cameraman asks the lightman to turn on the lights, and as he does, Mangal gets an idea. Shanti confidently says, “I know my daughter will not give up.” Meanwhile, Sowmya thinks Mangal can’t do anything to turn the situation around.
Mangal tells the anchor she needs lights and requests him to seek the judges’ permission. Sowmya tries to object, but the judges and the audience support Mangal, giving her a chance to use the lights. Sowmya, frustrated, reminds everyone that the time limit remains the same — 20 minutes. Adit and others praise Mangal for her smart thinking.
The anchor and his team head inside. Mangal quickly dries the food and packs it into bags. However, when she tries to re-enter the competition area, she finds the door locked. It turns out Niketan’s mother intentionally closed the door to stop Mangal from participating. The judges announce that only 10 seconds are left.
Meanwhile, Nysa, fetching her bran sticker, hears Mangal’s voice and opens the door for her. The countdown begins. Kusum anxiously wonders why Mangal hasn’t returned. Just before time runs out, Mangal makes it to the stage, shocking Sowmya. But as soon as she arrives, Mangal collapses. Kusum panics and worries for her daughter as the doctor checks Mangal.
Despite the situation, Sowmya insists that since Mangal didn’t return to her stall on time, she should be disqualified. Sanjana sides with Sowmya, supporting her claim.
Elsewhere, Jia tells Karthik she has called a priest to fix their wedding date. Karthik, still upset, says he needs time to process everything that happened. Jia manipulates him, saying Lakshmi will keep creating problems, and it’s better to get married so they can face issues together. She asks him to rest, but Karthik, unable to sleep, heads to the studio.
Jia, feeling victorious, thinks she has won the challenge and that Lakshmi is a loser. Gayatri confronts Jia, reminding her that she initially came to help Karthik, not force him into marriage. She urges Jia to back out, but Jia refuses, confessing that she played a game to stay close to Karthik. She declares she will marry him no matter what. Gayatri vows to stop the marriage, but Jia coldly threatens to expose her truth to Karthik if she interferes. She then dismisses Gayatri, saying she needs to sleep.
At the studio, Karthik asks the watchman to open the door. Meanwhile, Lakshmi arrives to show Karthik evidence, but before she can, someone uses chloroform on her and kidnaps her. Karthik hears something, turns around, but doesn’t see anyone there.
Lakshmi regains consciousness, tied to a chair in a dark warehouse. She asks the masked man who he is, but he threatens her to stay silent. The man then reports to Prema. Prema calls Jia, assuring her that she has kidnapped Lakshmi from the studio, so there’s nothing to worry about. Jia thanks her, while Lakshmi desperately thinks of a way to escape.
