The episode starts with Mangal asking Kusum where she has gone. Kusum says she recalled some work and went outside to take care of it. Mangal questions Kusum, leading Kusum to ask why Mangal is questioning her like a detective. Mangal tells Kusum that she feels this is the first time there is a difference in their thinking. Mangal then asks Kusum why she went to meet Sowmya. Mangal reminds Kusum that she called her, and Kusum told Mangal that she would call her back. However, Kusum hadn’t ended the call, and Mangal overheard Kusum’s conversation with Sowmya. Kusum explains that Sowmya is working with Adit and could negatively influence him in the office. To resolve this, Kusum decided to arrange Sowmya’s marriage to her boyfriend. Mangal agrees that Kusum might be right and comments on it.
Sowmya complains to Adit about Kusum cornering her by insisting that Sowmya introduce her boyfriend. Sowmya asks Adit to tell Kusum the truth. Adit tells Sowmya that Kusum will meet her boyfriend today. Sowmya, hearing this, thinks Adit will reveal the truth about their relationship to Kusum.
A traffic constable stops Karthik’s car and asks him to get out, claiming he broke a traffic signal. Karthik argues with the constable, stating he hasn’t broken any traffic signals. Lakshmi notices the constable behaving rudely with Karthik and gets out of the car. She observes that the constable’s uniform looks rented. The constable signals a thief to steal the jewelry.
Lakshmi notices the thief stealing the jewelry and calls for Karthik. Karthik retrieves the jewelry from the thief, while Lakshmi apprehends the traffic constable, who escapes.
Karthik decides to file a police complaint against the fake cop and the thief.
Adit, while talking on the phone, slips in the mud and falls. Mangal tries to help Adit but also falls. Ishana records a video of them and enjoys it. Kusum sees Adit and Mangal struggling to get out of the mud and laughs at their situation. Akshat apologizes to Adit, saying he caused the mud during his project. Adit comments on it.
Sowmya thanks Kusum for inviting her despite recent events. Kusum asks Sowmya where her boyfriend is. Sowmya says he will come today.
Adit announces that Sowmya’s boyfriend, Daksh, has arrived. Kusum is shocked to learn that Daksh is Sowmya’s boyfriend.
In a flashback, Adit hires Daksh to be Sowmya’s boyfriend for a day. Daksh agrees.
Daksh greets Adit’s family and talks to them. Karthik and Lakshmi arrive at Adit’s house and talk to Mangal. They reveal to Mangal how they nearly got robbed.
Daksh sees Karthik and Lakshmi and worries that they might recognize him as the fake cop who tried to rob them.
Daksh pretends to have Sindhur on his face and says he will go to the washroom to clean it. Daksh tries to escape by jumping off the balcony, but Lakshmi stops him and identifies him. Daksh pushes Lakshmi away and escapes.
Sowmya asks Adit why he can’t tell the truth. Adit says he has no choice but to continue with the plan and comments on it. Adit receives a call from Daksh and learns that Daksh has escaped. Adit tells Sowmya that Daksh has fled and that Lakshmi has identified him as the fake cop who tried to steal their jewelry. Sowmya worries that Lakshmi will reveal the truth to everyone. Lakshmi decides to tell everyone the truth about Daksh.
The episode ends.
